It would have made more sense for CC09 to have proposed a Constitutional Amendment to wit:
Article 28: The Federal Government of the United States has those, and only those powers which are specifically enumerated within the US Constitution and no more. No powers shall be granted that are insinuated from non-explicit text, and any member of Congress, the judiciary, or the executive branch who attempts to usurp the Constitution by asserting powers not granted shall be guilty of high treason and subject to the death penalty in a court of law. |

Glen,
Our 'motto' was and is "Defend - not amend" the Constitution. We want it adhered to by EVERYONE. I like your idea, but that was not our purview. Did you read the entire document? What are your thoughts on it's content? Ed

I haven't read the publication yet, but I do want to comment on this process.
We, the people, simply need to recreate the constitutional framework as envisioned by our founders in both the Federalist/Anti-Federalist papers. In the process, some adjustments (additional clarifications and restraints) to the US Constitution could be made to further slow the process of the federal government illegally usurping power over time. Just as the globalists are doing with usurping national power to international bodies under the control of the UN, we, the people, should create a replica of our founders' original intention. Mirror the illegitimate federal government with our replica. In other words, in strict accordance with the original intent of the US Constitution, establish, appoint, and elect representatives to both national (US Congress) and state legislatures and create an enforcement (uh, oh ) arm by establishing militias within the states and financing them with voluntary donations. Since the establishment has control over the fiat monetary supply, the financial aspects would likely be conducted with traditional assets like gold and silver or some form of barter in arms and manpower, etc. (black market) to support the enforcement of the parallel constitutional framework. In the meantime, the replicated constitutional framework would also serve a very valuable tool in educating the masses on the proper intent and operation of the US Constitution. If such a parallel constitutional framework were created, most proponents would be labeled terrorists soon enough anyway. If the repression were severe enough, the assemblies could be held in secret and outside the country if needed. Volunteers? Talk about risking it all for the republic. ![]()

Read the Document. It pretty much is what you call for, only we went a little bit further.
"...establishing militias within the states and financing them with voluntary donations. " NO! - WITH FEDERAL FUNDS! I think you will be surprised at the comprehensiveness of what we formulated. Remember, this was done by over a hundred Delegates elected from 48 of the 50 states, deliberating for 11 days in St Charles, Illinois. It was an unparalleled experience for me to say the least. With all the support staff and the video crews, we had about 175 people that basically never left the hotel for the entire time! We ate together, worked together, laughed, cried, screamed, fought, and loved with the dedication to AMERICA that lived in the breasts of the Founding Fathers, and I believe that this Historical Document will go down in history as every bit as important as the Declaration of Independence and the U. S. Constitution! Either We The People will Restore Constitutional Rule of Law to our Beloved Republic, or it will die along with those of us who will 'go down with the ship trying to save it'.
