No, we're too scattered and you still need to outspend both major parties by a large amount, which doesn't make sense right now. We can either slightly outspend the other party and run as Republicans, or we can run as Libertarians or another third party and be forced to spend millions more. It's just not feasible right now.

South Park Fan: Virtually all people want more choices, that won't change, but when it comes time to go to the polls, they don't vote for that third party because it's a joke. I would love for it to be different, but we have to be realistic.

Nothing will change, it's the media that caused Paul to be excluded from any coverage. It's 1000000000% the damn media's fault and NOTHING I know of short of violence will change that. There was a debate in 2007 sometime that was by CNN. I've looked all over for it on youtube, but anyways, after the debate CNN had its talking heads out in a parking lot to discuss the debate. There were Ron Paul signs all over the place and one of the talking heads said (and I do believe I can almost quote this verbatim)... "Well let's get on to talking about the candidates, obviously there's a lot of Ron Paul supporters here tonight, but we're here to discuss the MAINSTREAM candidates".

So it doesn't matter if Paul were to SMASH all the debates as he already did. It wouldn't matter if EVERYBODY in America watched him kick ass at the debates, the MEDIA and the F*%*ing MEDIA alone are what will stop him.

I hate to say this, but when the whole election started I went to a local grocery store and saw that idiot Soetoro on the cover of GQ with the cover saying "Does he have what it takes?". I knew then and there at that moment that he was being prepped up to be president. It makes me sick, and I wish I could do something about it, but the talking heads of CNN, MSNBC, and especially FOX are COMPLETELY behind any type of REAL change in this country.

I'm so sick of MSM... there's really no way to explain it.

YouTube - Ron Paul on with George Stephanopoulos

Start at about 5:57 and Dr. Paul explains why it makes no sense to run as a third party candidate.

Michigan and california might be relatively easy when they are in a depression and the only one aknowledging that is ron paul, while others continue to count on phony government numbers.

Unfortunately, I fear that Dr. Paul's economic policies and message have already been co-opted by the mainstream GOP in an effort to make sure that Paul is undistinguished in the most important issue of the 2012 election cycle.

I think he would be much better off to focus on health care (he IS a doctor), skepticism of the Federal Reserve, sensible foreign policy, and the philisophical REASONS for desiring a small, Constitutionally-limited government. He needs to remain distinguished from the other candidates, while avoiding the fringe/extremist labels he's gotten in the past as much as possible.

And, like others have said -- focus on Iowa and New Hampshire early and often, and let them KNOW that there will be a media blackout. Beat the media to it, and train others' eyes to look for it, and they might start thinking "I wonder why the media doesn't like this guy..."
