I have no problem with kicking someone off of a flight. The employees, after all, would be stuck in an enclosed space with a rude, unruly person for hours on end, and so would other customers.
Handing someone over to the FBI because they were a bit rude, though, is beyond silly. Thinking someone that uses foul language is a terrorist has no basis in reality. It sounds more like someone didn't like being called "bitch" and went on a merry ole power trip.

Osan's "boss" is blowing a little smoke.
The Captain can kick someone off a flight. The Captain may give that decision making to the Fight Attendant, but it is under the Captain's Authority. If the Captain does not believe the infraction warrants kicking someone off the flight, and the Flight Attendant is uncomfortable with that decision, the Flight Attendant can remove him/herself instead.
I highly doubt any LEOs would be called for simple verbal abuse. And if they were called, the passenger would probably be shortly released after a quick interview to review the facts.
