My name is Molly. I'm 17 and I live in Washington State in a suburb of Seattle. My parents, although very intelligent and good people, are of the Obama supporter kind. A couple of years ago I started thinking for myself and realizing that I don't agree with a lot of their ideals. I've been lurking forums like these, listening to podcasts like Alex Jones, reading blogs, etc. and I think I can politically identify most with paleoconservatives. I am still learning though. Other than that, I am a huge cat lover (I volunteer with a cat shelter and love it), I work in a theater backstage, and I am going to college next year. Can't wait to meet you all

That's where I grew up, although I recently emigrated mainly for political reasons to Ireland (not a perfect country, but only one third of the income tax I'd otherwise had to pay). I classify myself as a conservative libertarian. I've been fighting socialism since the age of 10 when I got interested in politics.

I wish all the leftist fools who love my country so much would just move there. I mean, they obviously love Sweden more than their own country.

Hi, my name is Jim; I am a dedicated Ron Paul supporter in search of volunteers to help promote an organization called Oath Keepers. Stewart Rhodes (former RP staff member) founded Oath Keepers as a non-partisan association with a simple mission: Reach, Teach & Inspire. To reach out to current serving military and peace officers to remind them their oath is to the Constitution, not the politicians. We want to ensure all oath takers are/or become oath keepers. Please join us; together we can Restore Our Republic.

Oath Keepers membership is growing fast and we are looking for dedicated patriots willing to help produce several promotional videos for several upcoming OK events. If you have any other talents that may lend to helping us, please contact me and I will give you all the details.

I guess if I am going to come here seeking volunteers, maybe I should share some of my experiences since joining the Ron Paul Revolution.

After seeing Aravoth’s renowned video, “Ron Paul: Stop Dreaming” it inspired me to make my first video promoting RP titled, “Ron Paul: Americas Hero”. Then I joined the LVRP Meet-up group, and volunteered to help make signs. I turned my garage into a “Sign Station” for our Paint the Town Ron event. In October of 2007, I convinced my parents to decorate their RV for our Promoting Ron Paul on the Las Vegas Strip event, videos for these events on my VegasPatriot YT homepage… many fond memories and lifelong friendships made during this campaign.

When it was apparent RP would not win the nomination, before the 2008 election, Stewart asked me to make a video to help him introduce Oath Keepers as soon as he finished writing his ‘Declaration of 10 Orders’. In the spring of 2009 I created the following:

Oath Keepers Declaration of Orders We Will NOT Obey.

I'm just now attempting to become politically aware as I have seen/heard things that are in glaring contrast what I believe in the mass media (and from my colleagues and coworkers) now that I've stopped to think about it. Here to get educated and see what other like-minded (maybe?) people have to say. If anyone has some suggestions for books to read to start becoming politically aware and educated, I'd appreciate the suggestions.
