There's a lotta things we contemplate could've, would've, should've. But in the end it's mute. We simply need to deal with what's happening now. It kinda reminds me of a conversation Jesse Ventura had on Fox and Friends:

Rand's opponent (naturally) is against term limits. At a Pulaski County picnic where congressman Hal Rogers spoke, Treyson took a stab saying "See, if we had term limits, we wouldn't have this great guy." or something like that.

I personally don't care about term limits... they are appealing for the average voter, but it seems like political structures are what elect people in the long run.
