I think it was Rep Shadegg from AZ.

I kind of agree with the sentiment here. Im sure the judge was just reading the teleprompter, but Im not crazy about labeling Rand a Libertarian. Rand is running as a Republican and should label himself as such. When you start getting into a third party, or 'even though Im running as a Republican, Im really not', that could turn into a mess very quickly—

the courrier journal does the same, always calls him libertarian

that's their line of attack, it's old.

I love the judge but whenever he sits in for Glenn Beck he mutates into someone else.

The introduction was horrible but it was obviously "just" the teleprompter.

Also, watch the last 10 seconds of the video, isn't that tone of voice eerily out of character for the judge?

A year ago Glenn Beck sat in for Larry King and he became an entirely different person, too! Maybe that's a timely reminder that it's all for show and that when we turn on the TV we aren't listening to "TV personalities" but to the unseen forces behind them.

I thought it was great overall.

It gave Rand a chance to establish himself as a Constitutional Conservative on the MSM. Win!

The word libertarian doesn't mean much here in Kentucky to the average primary voter. So, let them waste their time trying to paint him with something that won't stick.

I predict the real conservative voter may just adopt the title and start saying they are libertarian. *Sean hannity*

Yeah Chris is right, when canvassing in louisville today person asked if they on was libertarian (after asking if Rand was his son) but it really meant nothing to the republican primary voter since he now associates himself with libertarianism.

Guess it's not such a bad thing to be a libertarian after all.
