Default www.DoddProof.com - Peter Schiff MONEYBOMB - Dec. 1, 2009 (here's the big one)

Are you ready to have the biggest one-day fundraiser for Peter Schiff yet?

Pledge now! www.DoddProof.com

Chris Dodd has spent his entire career in Washington, forcing Americans to deal with disastrous regulations while he lives a life of luxury, receiving special favors in exchange for his corrupt behavior. Finally, we have a chance to send him home. However, we should not replace him with another big-government Republican who will at best be the "lesser of two evils". Instead, we need to send a man to DC who will work to restore freedom and prosperity to our nation. Peter Schiff has no interest in being a career politician; he will stand up for what is right without worrying about pleasing any special interest groups. Let's show him we are ready to fight with him by contributing what we can on December 1st. With enough promotion, we can make this the biggest single-day fundraising event for a Senate candidate in American history. Whether you can afford to donate $25, $100, $500, $1,000 or more, every bit of it will count. Please pledge to donate above and encourage others to do the same. Together, we can send Peter Schiff to the Senate.

About the moneybomb: This is being ran by us at the RP Forums. It is meant to be a Schiff version of Kentucky Fight. The Facebook event already had 300 members, even before the site was created. We really can make this a big day for the Schiff campaign. As you can see from Schiff's new website and calender of events, he *IS* working hard now. He had some commitments before, but now the campaign has started. We will also be making a Rand moneybomb for 12/16. Please consider donating on both days. These are the last moneybombs of 2009. I know it seems like there are too many and some that don't do too well, but these are meant to be the BIG ones. We are making history!

I'm really glad that the forum members put this together.

Did somebody take a cut in the November 5th bomb? Is that why it wasn't very actively supported?

there was no way for anyone to "take a cut". All donations were made at each individual candidate's website. www.ThisNovember5th.com was not even close to being able to touch any money donated. The only thing it collected were site visitors and email addresses.

I'm not that knowledgeable on the psychology behind political event advertisements, but to me it would be imperative that Peter's picture were on this advertisement. I think it's much more important to gain visual recognition than it is to show a picture of Dodd - pretty much every CT voter already knows who he is and has a formidable opinion on his career. Peter's name and face, on the other hand, should be thrown into every relevant item possible.
