Split the establishment vote, Rand still will get all the principled conservative vote.

I hope if it happens, when the polls show Paul in third, you'll admit how wrong this statement is.

I saw Geoff Davis' name mentioned as a possible candidate in this thread. I hope he stays in our district as a Representative for a little longer. To have him in the House and Rand Paul in the Senate is the makings of a dream team for KY (and the U. S. of A. in general). When Mitch's number comes up, I hope Davis runs against him. Davis voted against TARP when Mitch voted for it. Davis is true fiscal conservative, and I would like to imagine he is quietly hoping Rand beats Grayson and goes all the way in this election.
![]() Sorry to state the obvious, but the fact that there's scuttlebutt about a third candidate to replace Grayson is actually just going to undermine Grayson's chances even more. Rand Paul's campaign has to be high fiving in their office right now.

I left the Jefferson Co. GOP picnic a while back after hearing Cathy Bailey speak on foriegn policy. I had the notion that I should go somewhere and get a rabies shot.
Rand was just getting into the groove in his speech there, most people at the event if I had to guess had not seen him face to face before then. YouTube - Rand Paul speaks at Jefferson County GOP Picnic July 11 2009 |
