Since the GOP is a private organization it can probably change any rules it wants without warning, and there isn't a "legal" violation. At most, perhaps you could sue them to get your party donations returned in civil court.
However the foul stench of cronyism is not helpful to drawing new membership. These tools are just giving more ammo to their critics in future conventions, and making the party look bad in comparison to the competition. |
