Default Do Ron Paul, B.J. Lawson and Libertarians Threaten Christian Conservatives?

Chuck Campbell, local Christian Radio Host, seems to think so. Check out this recently blog entry on the subject:

http://blog.chuckcampbellshow.com/archives/31

Feel free to share your thoughts with Chuck. Remember to be polite and thoughtful, not rude and immature.

Note: For some reason, comments aren't currently showing up (hmmm... funny, eh?), but if they start working again I encourage you to let your views be known.

Since they're not working as I write this, you can read BJ's reply to Chuck's post here:

I cannot see how anyone can find libertarians threatening.

Why would the Prince of Peace want his supporters to wage war in His name?

Neither Ron Paul nor B. J. Lawson are Libertarians. They are Republicans with libertarian leanings.

BJ, would you then be in favor of a Constitutional Amendment to eliminate so-called “anchor babies” as Ron Paul has advocated?

I believe that you are sincere in your Christian faith, besides that’s not for me to judge, but your politics are a different matter.
Placing a higher value on a document, one that I pledged to defend with my life, than on protecting our children from the onslaught of the militant homosexuals who want to deconstruct the the family so that they can engage in unbridled sodomy and then indoctrinate and recruit our children in the government schools, like they already are in CA and MD.
These schools which the poor and people like myself are trapped into sending our children to attend.
The Marriage Amendment is the benchmark for a social conservative! Are you with us or against us?
Chuck Campbell
Christian first,
Father and Husband second,
American third,
Pro-Life Conservative fourth and
Finally a proud Republican…
when we defend our Judeo-Christian values

Chuck is an idiot. Does he really believe that "gay people" are attempting to grow their ranks through public schools? If this is the case why are so few of them becoming teachers? Does Chuck actually believe that someone can become homosexual by choice? One wonders if Chuck feels as though he maybe susceptible to having sexual relations with another man. If he doesn't then surely he can't possibly believe that homosexuality is by choice.

Everyone, please remember what I said about being polite and thoughtful. That is important here as well. Now he's wrote a blog entry about me for posting this, which I think is fair to characterize somewhat as an attack, but that's fine. I have pretty thick skin.

I do not know what you are referring to in this thread, but I totally agree. I have seen anti-Paul spammers use quotations from here to make Paul supporters seem crazy. This is public, so be on your best behavior.
