District Captains Sign Up Here

NC has no state coordinator. Im thinking we need a little organization, so heres an attempt to create a little (not too much) Ive noticed theres alot of NC counties with no visible support, and meetup is too confined to local region, so how about we get a contact for all 13 Congressional districts. We could grow this to make sure theres a precinct captain in each county also. these people can make sure thier district is aware of their district and county/precinct convention dates. I dont want to compile a voter list.

But we must get a little better organized.

Precinct Captain here, 2nd congressional district, Precinct: West Youngsville 2 (Franklin County)

Volunteered in SC for 2 weeks, and am tomorrow going to AL until 5 Feb. Then back to NC to win my district for RP.

I am registered Independent, and I plan on changing to Rep to become a Delegate. deadline is 31 Jan. Debating w myself if I should mail the form tomorrow, or put off my trip to AL for a day/half a day to hand carry the form to the Franklin County GOP at this late stage.

Also need to know when the Franklin County convention is, so I know I will be back in time.

Finally also, am thinking about a run at Congress in 2010. No bachelors degree though. VERY self educated.

Yeah, I'm good for voting. I just want to get more involved with NC than being a precinct captain. Delegate sounds nice.

great thanks. i put you down for district 2. will get you a link when i get a meetup/forum for us to chat. congrats on running for office. i think the ability to communicate to people and think critically is more important than any degree.


The precinct conventions dates have not been decided yet and they have different days maybe, so you will have to stay in contact so you dont miss it for your precinct!!! i sent PM with the contact info. Your county convention is march 28 but you must attend precinct convention beforehand to be a delegate or vote for a delegate. they are trying to shut out new republicans so navigate this roadblock carefully.

Precinct meetings begin in early Feb & some have already had their (West Havelock had their Jan 15th) so it's real important to get involved now. There are an awful lot of rural precincts here in NC that have no precinct delegates whatsoever. This is a great opportunity for some of us in more rural areas to get involved.

One thing I've been suggesting to all my meetup folk is to not mention Dr. Paul's name when calling about precinct meetings or delegate openings.

Unfortunately one of my members found out the hard way & we lost a potential position in one of the 13 counties that compromise my district.

I forgot, I should mention that I am a precinct delegate & therefore have a vote at county & district convention. If I can be of any assistance, please feel free to pm me. I am in this 200%.

I attended the Ron Paul Rally in Myrtle Beach, SC and members from my meetup group campaigned and placed Ron Paul signs in SC prior to the primaries. My group is a great group dedicated to Ron Paul for President, but we need more members, a membership drive, any Ideas to arrtact new workers for Ron Paul?

So far we only have two Ron Paul Precinct leaders here in Richmond County, I have contacted 6 more people but haven't got a commitment yet.
I have lived in Richmond County for 22 years and all my family are Ron Paul supporters, we have been since 2003.
My biggest challenge is to get people to commit to getting active for Ron Paul. I use the local news paper's Letter to the Editor and get many positive calls regarding my articles in support Of Ron Paul, GREAT FREE advertising!
