We need to start thinking about how to recruit the voters of other candidates.
Huckabee--Focus on Dr. Paul's integrity and honesty. Pro-Life issues are key.
Thompson--He talks about the Constitution and founding principles a lot. So does Dr. Paul and he has the record to back it up. Second amendment. Romney and McCain are vulnerable on that issue.
Giuliani--Running ads about lowering taxes. Focus on Dr. Paul's voting record against taxes.

We must convert these voters. We're going to have to appeal to voters 45+ in age, as they represent well over 50% of voters.

If Huck goes, Ron is the most Christian guy in the race left.. Since these christians vote on blind faith and religion, look for most of them to go Paul's way (even if they dont agree with him on some issues, they only care about the "jesus factor").

I think you're right...a big percentage of Huck's Army will come our way when Huck drops out. RP may be a hard sell with some of them, but I think he'll get a lot. We absolutely must stay in the money race until then though. Otherwise, if it doesn't look like RP can compete, they'll go elsewhere.

Thompson has formed an alliance with McCain. The longer Thompson remains in the race, the more Thompson drains Huckabee of voters (at least more than he would drain from McCain). Expect Thompson to remain in the race until Huckabee throws in the towel. Once Huckabee drops out, then Thompson will quit and endorse McCain thereby leaving Romney all alone to duel with McCain. Meantime, Ron Paul will let McCain and Romney duel it out in a war of attrition, which Romney will win. However, since Romney will be hated by about three fourths of the GOP rank and file at the national convention, there will be a movement for a brokered convention to nominate Newt Gingrich as its presidential nominee.

It all made sense until the Grinch came out of nowhere.
