    Hillsdale and Branch

Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered, but I'm just getting home from work and getting my first look at the results.

Hillsdale did incredible, 17% voted for Paul, next door in Branch Paul only pulled 6%, and in surrounding areas he didn't do much better. Both counties have similar total votes, so why did the localized spike not carry over to the next county?

    Still digesting,

I asked the same earlier and it looks like we found the explanation- a very Libertarian minded college that teaches Austrian economics is in Hillsdale.

A bit old response, but they did good IN SPITE of the College. It's really a NeoCon college, and I say that after living there for 17 years and thinking the same thing you did before I moved there. See my follow-up from 2008 from the thread you reference also

Brad Birzer teaches there - he's Ron Paul 100% through and through. But yeah, that monthly newsletter I get certainly proves there's a big Israel first contingent in the leadership.
