    A very revealing statistic

Of those questioned in the exit polls, 13% said that Ron Paul was the candidate that would bring about much needed change. Yet, of those people, only 52% voted for him, which yields about the 6% he is currently getting.

For the other candidates, Huckabee got 80% of the people who said he could bring about change, McCain 87%, and Romney 88%.

These statistics suggest that Ron Paul is losing a sizable portion of votes because people just don't think he can win.

Guiliani's figures were 39% and Thompson 55% - and they are sliding down the ladder in this campaign.

Nice post. That is some frustrating data.
Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.

This is why the MSM is so effective with its constant "He can't win".

It's almost like conservatives would rather vote for a winner who pays them lip service, regardless of what they actually believe, than stand up for their principles and fight for someone who is truly on their side. If they keep that up, we'll never have another true conservative in the White House.

    Dead on right!

Romney got 22% of the "Ron Paul is most likely to bring needed change" vote. Maybe these were the people who voted for him because of his "ties to Michigan."

This is the kind of statistic that is vital to know. Now its time to turn things around with a focus on the areas that will yeild results.

This campaign needs to project an aura of winning from top to bottom.

Like we got em right where we want them.
