    Lateral thinking

    Hey guys,

I see a lot of great creativity and innovation in the grassroots efforts. For anyone who needs a little help in your scheming, I'd recommend that you look up the concept of "lateral thinking." You can start here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lateral_thinking

Here is my own "Provocative Operation:"

Dr. Paul always says he won't run as a 3rd party candidate. I think he should make an independent run as a Republican, regardless of the nomination.

(Can 2 Republican candidates run in the same race?)

Perhaps Ron Paul is the only Republican in the race.

I am thinking he is hanging on as much as he can to get the exposure.

He says he'll run until we stop sending him money... All we have to do if he loses the nomination is keep the cash flowing and I'm sure he'll stay in as independant.
    Peace, Prosperity, Paul.

    I like that one!

    Here's my next PO:

Ron Paul will be President in 2008.

    Discuss.

He can become president in 2008 in the following ways:

    1) By winning the general election.

    2) By overthrowing the government.

    3) If all other candidates drop out of the race.

    4) He could be president of something other than the USA.

    5) He could fill some other role of importance that has the effect or influence of being president.

If 1, how can he win?

    First step:
    a) By gaining the nomination of the Republican party
    b) By launching an independent run
    c) By gaining the nomination of a 3rd party

    Second step:
    i) By convincing Americans that he is better than the other candidates
    ii) By rigging the election
iii) By technicality (other candidates drop, etc)

If i, how can he convince them?

I think this is the question most people are thinking about right now...

    But what about other options?
