NC doesn't need ThomTillis as the Republican nominee for US Senate.

I don't know if the last part of that post is right. Is that what RP was referring to?

The media and Brit Hume are drawing a minor distinction to try and make Dr. Paul look batty. RP's answer was obviously a response to the testosterone false bravado laced (e.g. Thompson's completely insensitive and idiotic 72 virgins line) answers made by the other candidates about wanting to be "tough" with Iran and not tolerating any more of these types of "provocations". It wasn't meant to be a specific assessment of the Navy captain's "restraint" in this particular matter. What a retarded question anyway- what candidate is going to stand up there in a South Carolina debate and criticize a naval commander in an operational zone 1,000's of miles away anyway?

The larger point is that in a Paul Administration... we wouldn't have "coalition naval forces" patrolling international waters just off the coast of Iran anyway, and we would thereby avoid all of these uneccessary inflammatory "incidents".

No, I meant about what RP heard or didn't hear. Thanks though.
