Seems like just another way overreaching and too-broad-and-ambiguous law. I mean come on, "person" is defined as any person or group of people and "person in the US" is any person in the US or any legal group (group made under US law) in the United States. That just seems like bad law to me. The US government is made under US law, if they are the greatest threat to stability in Iraq do we get to reclaim all the property they have usurped? I don't see that happening. Also, the way it's worded, it seems to me that if they deemed any person a threat, they can go after anyone who ever gave them direct or indirect assistance. Seems fine on the surface, but with the deep-running and ever-present deceit in Washington, it would only take one crazy president to call a political rival a threat to Iraqi stability and sieze the assets of anyone who's ever given them money. It's out there I know, but I'm so tired of ambiguous law. I swear... you'd think the whole country was run by evil monkeys if you didn't see their faces on the TV every day.
