    Thank you ALL!

OMG! It was crazy, it was chaotic! It was some of the best fun I ever had in a game!

Sadly some couldn't log in on time, and unfortunately we didn't have a high lvl warlock to summon the latecomers. My apologies to those who couldn't make it for whichever reason.

I was very impressed and gratified with all those who held out calmly in the face of the haters and spammers, and honored Dr. Paul with their show of strength, peace and solidarity!

Yes, we died, MASSIVELY! But hey, we were storming the gates of Orgrimmar! Did we expect otherwise? And check it out - a LVL 2 character (maybe a few of them) actually made it through the gates!

The lesson I took from this was that the cause of freedom might not be an easy one, but if we stand together we can still win through!

The guild WILL be continuing! We all met so many terrific people, there's no way we could let this end.

I'll be off the servers for a couple days - after 4 days of intense getting ready I need a break - but I'll be back.

    Remember to VOTE!

    Much love to you all,

    LettuceBFree

I am.. awed by your bravery in the face of certain defeat. Surely a solemn memorial to properly remember the fallen is in order..

Awesome. I am glad it went well without any GM's spawning and banning people. I was really crossing my fingers for you guys!

Someone should put together a 5 minute YouTube of the highlights. A shorter video would be much more effective than a 2 hour one.
Go check out my vocal covers on Youtube. Thanks!

If anyone remembers Freedomlover that was me. I had lots of fun. The haters were bunch of cranky 12 year olds. We had like 20 lvl 70 alliance escort us through the jungle! Yes the last charge into Ogrimar came to a crushing halt as we met around 50 level 70 Hord poised at stopping us right at the gate. I made around 300 screenshots mostly of the chat and how hilarious it was.

If you are continuing the guild we should organize to do some fun events. Like having bunch of lvl 1s duke it out in arena and stuff.

Had a great time both prepping my character GWashington to level 12 so I could resurrect the dead if needed and the march was the most fun I have had in WoW in a very very long time.

Actually it will be remembered as the best time I ever had in the game.

Thank you so much lemur (LettuceBFree) !!! This was a great success!

Ronpaulrules here (can call me Robin if you want), wanted to say that tonight was AMAZING. Yes I am a nerd and I would like to say that WE MADE HISTORY tonight! In our own way, and I am proud of all of us, that was so awesome!! I sent my husband all of the screen shots, I know he is going to write back telling me how much of a dork I am.

I would like to give a special thanks to 2nd amendment, we had a great leader and everyone really kept it together, the organization was amazing, more organized than anything in my "real life"!

I managed to convince my dad and his girlfriend tonight to watch Ron Paul on tv and they immediately called and thanked me because they LOVE him!

    Thanks Lettuce!

    It was definitely fun times!

Yes, I know who your raid leader was, and he's completely awesome! Actually, all our officers are!

Thanks so much for joining us in this!

Agreed we did make history! The first Massive Multiple Online Presidental Candidate Rally - MMOPCR? (LOL someone find a better bunch of initials, I'm suffering from too little sleep.)

Frankly I think the folks who protested against us were jealous they didn't think of it first.

This is a tribute to the number of people Ron Paul can inspire. When we started it, around 3am thursday, we had about 20 or so people. By the time I woke up after a 3 hour nap, we had 75. Just 4 days later we had something like 386 unique accounts in the guild. That's pretty much unheard of for that short a time.

I'm a geek too, and I wear that name proudly. To me it means someone who is with-it, intelligent and apprised of technology and what goes on in the world.

GEEKS FOR RON PAUL! I like it!

LOL I'm still exhausted and high on the experience. (Who needs drugs? I have Networking to keep my head up.)

I wanted to once again say a thank you to the Guild Officers who participated. The name of the game was controlled chaos and they did an amazing job of handling it. A thank you also to those who though they weren't officially "in charge" took command of a group and brought them through.

I am just so amazed and gratified at how many of you took leadership and ran with it, to create a powerful experience for everyone.

I have to say that it was an incredibly humbling experience for me. I'm merely a figurehead, folks. I'm merely one of a dozen or so people who pulled this together. I couldn't have done it alone. I couldn't have done it without my officers or without the 386 or so of you who signed up for it. And to be leading the vanguard of the WoW Revolution, with everyone thanking ME . . . well it wasn't just me.

To be clear about the numbers. This was above my expectations.

Now that I've had some sleep, I wanted to post a fuller version of what happened, so that the folks on this forum who didn't attend could hear about it. This is what I sent to the lady at Orange County register.

It was crazy, it was chaotic, it was the best fun I ever had in the game! 246 Ron Paul supporters came together to march in support of our candidate.

Our members ranged in age from 16 (including a girl who'd had her 18th birthday the day before, and was thrilled that she could now vote) to about 57, with most of the players in the 25 to 45 range.

We lined up single file (or as near as we could manage that) in Khranos, in a total of six raid groups. Immediately we were set upon by anti-Ron Paul protestors, who did their best to harass us and get us into PvP mode so that they could kill us. We'd heard rumors that they were going to try to stop the march by killing us all before we ever left Ironforge.

I was very proud of our officers who kept the peace, encouraged the members and swiftly booted the few anti-Paulists who had managed to infiltrate the group. Our members showed their strength and determination by not allowing the taunts to get to them, instead encouraging each other to remain calm over guild chat. Spirits were high and we danced and laughed and handed out guild tabards (thanks to a generous donation from one of our higher level members) as well as red, white and blue shirts (many of the members had donated cloth so that I could make them).

Just as we were getting ready to set off, I finally made contact with a GM, and explained what we were doing, and that we were self-policing and would comply with any needs of the GMs. The gentleman I spoke to was very courteous, and we appreciate Blizzard's support.

We circled around Ironforge and moved to the tram. By this time we had learned that there was a queue to get onto the server, and sadly some of our folks didn't make it in on time, or our showing would have been even larger. At its peak we had 386 unique accounts in the RP Revolution Guild.

We gathered in Stomwind, and marched through the streets of the city and out into Goldshire. The center of town became a sea of blue nametags. From there we headed to Westfall, and to the sea. Many thanks to the high level characters from both our guild and other guilds, who helped us kill off the raptors, gnolls and Defias Brotherhood we passed along the way. At the lighthouse we plunged into the sea and swam down to Booty Bay. The murlocs were out in force, and many died while swimming but were rezzed or ran back to the group. "This is madness!" I yelled to my officers, laughing at the mayhem all around. "Madness?" one of them said, "this is Sparta!"

Gathering in Booty Bay, we took the boat to Ratchet and from there marched towards the Crossroads. At this point we got a little to close, and the guards rushed us, and many more had to be rezzed.

From there we headed for Orgrimmar (our "Washington") and ran for the gates. Our plan was to get on the zeppelin, and some actually made it there. It was an insane, free-for all battle against guards and poisonous snakes and Horde players who had waited there to "gank" us, since they knew that once we got
within range of Orgrimmar, we would automatically flagged for PVP. We died in massive droves! But, hey, we were storming the gates of Orgrimmar, so that was pretty much what we'd expected. Amazingly, a few level 2 Alliance characters actually made it inside the gates, a feat that so far as I know has never previously been pulled off.

The course of freedom isn't an easy one, but for me this march proved that if we stand together, we can win through!

The RP Revolution guild is on Whisperwind to stay! We made so many wonderful friends, and had a blast being together in a guild where we could intelligently discuss the world's problems with likeminded folks. Most of our members came from other servers, and many (including myself) are now considering moving our mains there. It's highly likely that many of those who joined with the free trial will be staying with the game as well.

A gazillion people did. Unfortunately we had to suspend invites during the march because so many "Gackers" (folks trying to create trouble) were trying to join.

We're hoping that once the dust clears, the sincere RP folks will continue to join us in the Guild.
