Using Baraks 2 million view You Tube video to squeze out some popularity numbers.

I wanted to conduct a little experiment in popularity.

I took Barack Obama's most popular You Tube video "I Got a Crush...On Obama" By Obama Girl

    VIDEO LINK

It has been viewed as of today 2,231,009 times and commented on 6803 times.

I then took all 6803 comments, copied and pasted them into MS Word and conducted a find search to determine how many times other candidates names appeared in the comments section. (I excluded Barack for obvious reasons)

    Heres the break down:

    Hillary Clinton: 167 times
    John McCain: 21 times
    Fred Thompson: 21 times
    Tommy Thompson: 18 times
    Mitt Romney: 17 times
    Rudy Giuliani: 17 times
    Duncan hunter: 5 times
    Mike Huckabee: 5 times
    Sam Brownback: 2 times
    Jim Gilmore: 1 time
    Tom Tancredo: 0 times

Oh and what about "long shot" Ron Paul? 344 times

    Smiling....good!!

Speaking of "I got a crush" video. I was surfing the news and Bill O'Smelly had Dick Morris on and they were talking about this video and the Hot for Hilary video.

Dick was talking about how he thought that these were the kind of tools to be used to attract the current generation to the candidates. I was a little taken back that that's all they thought of the younger generation. Forget the issues or what he candidates actually stand for. Just make a hot video to get their votes. Is that what they think of the people now? I hope someone posts it on YouTube. To me, it was really offensive. Pretty sure the younger generation Ron Paul supporters would be offended!

Now I have to go take a shower after actually watching a bit of the O'Smelly show

That was a painful video to sit through. Is this the kind of videos the other candidates have?

This Obama Girl video insults women.

If I were a woman, I would be pissed off at how this represents my political consciousness.

She's hot but I wouldn't trust her politics. Its another wrinkle to the term 'attention whore.'
If you want less oppressive government, quit trying to expand it.

Omg did she actually sing "Once you get your oval office, you'll get your head of state" ?!?!?!? Puking.
    Grass-Roots
    –adjective
of, pertaining to, or involving the common people, esp. as contrasted with or separable from an elite: I.E. a grass-roots movement for Ron Paul 2008.

I can't stand that video. I don't really see what so attractive, unless its just being hyped. She's more than obviously a paid performer. The song is cheesy, and I simply couldnt watch the whole thing. I got that embarrassed for her feeling.

“I don’t think that there will be any curtailing of Donald Trump as president,” he said. "He controls the media, he controls the sentiment [and] he controls everybody. He’s the one who will resort to executive orders more so than [President] Obama ever used them." - Ron Paul
