The use of force to impose morality is itself immoral, and generosity with others' money is still theft.

BT (aka Brian Transeau) "The Antikythera Mechanism" (so much better in surround sound though; all the tracks/instruments on This Binary Universe were written/designed/mixed in surround from the bottom up)

    Entertaining, and educational.
Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.

    They're okay.

Because of this thread, I'm now listening to this:

YouTube - Shai Linne - Were You There
"Then David said to the Philistine, 'You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of hosts, the God of the battle lines of Israel, Whom you have reproached.'" - 1 Samuel 17:45

"May future generations look back on our work and say that these were men and women who, in moment of great crisis, stood up to their politicians, the opinion-makers, and the Establishment, and saved their country." - Dr. Ron Paul

The past 2 1/2 months I've only had access to my local collection of music.

    Schoenberg pre-breakfast,

2manyDJs. Justice, & Soulwax for brunch,

The Bravery & Gnarls Barkley for lunch,

Cake, Regina Spektor, Flaming Lips, Reign of Kindo, & Cee-Lo for Dinner,

and then some combination of softish electronica or prog rock & other obscure softer music until Sleep.

    They have originals, too.

How to Stay Alive by Gong.
Gong's leader Daevid Allen remind me of Ron Paul in a way.
They are about the same age (in their 70's) and both of them are still alive and kicking!

Dio, Rhapsody, Hammerfall, Manowar and a lot of European power metal bands.
They tend to deal with lyrical themes of magic, knights, dragons, castles, deserted dungeons, and etc.
That's why some people call them as D&D metal.
The Sword is interesting band since they deal with D&D lyrics yet musically they play doom metal in the vein of Black Sabbath with heavier twist.
And they are very good at writing heavy riffs.

Been listening to Deer Tick's "War Elephant" pretty much non-stop along with heavy doses of Neil Young. That's been my musical preference as of late.
