My little 11 month old daughter freaking loves this song. I need to take her to a polka concert.
All the country music tonight got me thinking about a song my mom used to sing to me. This is the best recording I could find with the right lyrics.
My dad used to sing this one to me. I thought shortin' bread was cake. I was disappointed to find out it's fried cornbread. Don't get me wrong, fried cornbread kicks ass but I had my heart set on cake.

I got the new Bon Jovi album a little while back so I have that spinning while I get some work done this morning. A lotta people don't like that kind of music but I happen to like some of that bubblegum pop rock buhshizit. Umkay?
