Candeye Kane- she is a great performer (and has an amazing guitar player, Laura Chavez)- is an inspiration person. She is huge on the power of positive thinking even as she battles cancer but doesn't let it slow or get her down. Like blues? Check her out! This includes her version of Willie Dixon's "You Need Love" which was originally a slow song but most people know the Led Zeppelin version they called "Whole Lotta Love". Lives in San Diego so I have seen her a few times.

Long solo by Laura on this one:

Well, it should only take 16 seconds, since that's when they put it onscreen in the video.

Anyway, here's what's currently at the top of my list, you may hate me a little more.

This is song of the week for me.

You gotta stick around still 2:50 to hear Jay-Z. He shines better on this song, imo.

You might have noticed that we're big Sturgill Simpson. DH just discovered his old band.

    Great anti-war song!

Based on the idea of natural rights, government secures those rights to the individual by strictly negative intervention, making justice costless and easy of access; and beyond that it does not go. The State, on the other hand, both in its genesis and by its primary intention, is purely anti-social. It is not based on the idea of natural rights, but on the idea that the individual has no rights except those that the State may provisionally grant him. It has always made justice costly and difficult of access, and has invariably held itself above justice and common morality whenever it could advantage itself by so doing.
