The "Ten Day" forecast is nothing more than a guess. There could be a blizzard on 1-3.

It's interesting to watch how they change the forecast for the the day as it draws closer.

My friend used to be a MSM meteorologist. Anything more than 3 days out is a guess. He also told me how they would fudge the forecasts for certain events. For instance, during state fair time, even if there was 100% chance of rain, they would say, "slight chance of precipitation". They weren't allowed to make forecasts that would hurt revenue. That very well may have changed by now though, with everybody having easy access to live weather maps on the Internet, the weather channel, etc.

*Mental note - compare weather forecast for January 3rd in Iowa between Des Moines Register and weather.com.

we need to hope for the worst possible weather. we all know that ron paul supporters will get there to vote, no matter what the conditions. they will walk 10 miles though a blizzard if they have too. most of the supporters of the other candidates are going to stay at home of the weather is bad. it looks like everyone on this forum also realizes this. keep your fingers crossed!
