Extreme Ways at Looking at Interview

    Ron Paul is...

-Out of touch with reality because he said the Civil War didn't need to be fought.
-Supporting racist because he didn't vote for the Civil Rights Act
-Is an anti-Semite, saying leaders of Israel want us to bomb Iran (source?), saying "Neoconservative" which really is code for "Jewish supporters"
-Supporters druggies because he wants to legalize drugs
-Hates education cause he wants to get rid of the the Department of Education
-Is a pork man! He uses earmarks, what a hypocrite.
-Doesn't even know how much would be lost if we didn't have an income tax, and how many soldiers are overseas
-Equates us to the Islamofascist! He supporters terrorist!

    hrm...forgetting anything?

    added:
-Thinks America is a fascist nation

What's the point of this thread? To debunk these myths? Or to simply list as many reasons as we can NOT to support Ron Paul?

The interview was a total ambush. Everyone of those items can be explained from a principled, Constitutional approach. Paul's ideas require lengthy explanations because he is trying to completely alter the paradigm of the day.
"The individual is handicapped by coming face-to-face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists." - J. Edgar Hoover

    Ron Paul is...

-In touch with reality because he said the Civil War could have been avoided.
-Supporting individual liberty because he didn't vote for the Civil Rights Act
-Is a brave American, saying leaders of Israel want us to bomb Iran, saying "Neoconservative" which really is code for "big government war mongers." -Opposes big government because he wants to legalize drugs at the federal level
-Loves education cause he wants to get rid of the the Department of Education
-Is an honest man! He uses earmarks, what a great statesman.
-Does know how much would be lost if we didn't have an income tax, and how many soldiers are overseas as he has stated this in past speeches and rallies.
-Equates us to the policeman of the world! He supports eliminating the incentives for terrorists to attack us!

    hrm...forgetting anything?
"Instead of the “end of history,” we are now experiencing the end of a vocal limited-government movement in our nation’s capital. While most conservatives no longer defend balanced budgets and reduced spending, most liberals have grown lazy in defending civil liberties and now are approving wars that we initiate. The so-called “third way” has arrived and, sadly, it has taken the worst of what the conservatives and liberals have to offer." -Ron Paul

Ha! I love the drug one......so I guess the people who do NOT want to BAN tobacco and alcohol are also drug supporters eh?

Alcohol and tobacco are the MOST abused drugs in this nation.

People aren't as stupid as the media thinks. He did a wonderful job and you will see two things. His new memberships will go off the charts and the MSM will attack him using sound bites from this interview.

It doesn't matter. He must tell the truth, it's what he does and that is why he is so loved. He is bold and honest enough to tell his positions, we must be honest enough to accept them too and supporting him with all that is within us.

His positions are what the majority of real Americans want to hear.
