Biden pardons 39 and commutes 1,500 sentences

This all sounds like stuff that a real president would be doing every single week of however long he's in office.Announcing the move, Biden said those pardoned had "shown successful rehabilitation and have shown commitment to making their communities stronger and safer". Their non-violent convictions included drug offences.
The commuted sentences were for hundreds of people who were placed in home confinement during the Covid-19 pandemic, and who were facing sentences which Biden deemed to be too long under outdated laws.
They have "shown that they deserve a second chance", Biden said.
Giving further details of the move, the White House said those receiving relief included a decorated military veteran and pilot who helped fellow church members, a nurse who helped with the Covid vaccine rollout, and an addiction counsellor.
Makes me wonder, though, since he was the guy at least partly responsible for putting them in inappropriately to begin with, what gives here?

What gives? It's a distraction from all of the other pardons the Biden Crime family will issue. They have to issue some that seem legitimate, to bury the obviously corrupt ones.Originally Posted by fisharmor
