So-called lowering of taxes, these giant Conglomerates are still sucking up to government [both sides of it] in favor of protectionist policies. Deregulation is good, lowering taxes is good, but when they start pushing Tariffs, all that does is push small/medium companies out of the way.

If you want true reform and a true free market, there needs to be a complete separation of BIG all business and government.

He wants to play “a significant role in making government more efficient”?

    No thanks.

I suppose I’m the only one who sees a serious danger of arising fascism from all this “cooperation” between large corporations and government?

Carry on. By the time the whole thing comes to a head I’ll probably be too dead to care anyway.

I didn't pay any attention to Musk for the first month he's been talking about this because my initial reaction was "Yeah ok if you don't know the only thing government has ever been efficient at is ending human life, I really don't want you near such an effort".
WHAT THE F*** DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN???

Well i dont like Trump on some issues but if Harris wins, that means 4 years of Harris/Biden 2.0 will be likely worse for free speech if not the left will push heavily to regulate it.

Not saying the right is any better.

Look at how Harris/Walz threaten Musk that they will work with the Britain to force advertising companies to stop working Elon Musk X.

Harris will work hard to make sure the Mainstream News Media stays relevant.

LOL yeah I had that same thought. And there is serious risk of him becoming an technocrat.

While Trump and Musk can cut quite a bit at the Executive Branch, they have to get Congress to go along with the rest of it, which won't happen. It's hard to do anything with government, which is the way it's designed to be. They can't just wave a magic wand and abolish entire departments (unfortunately)...for better or worse.

Dude is worried about the white birth rate. Dudes problem with trans people is the sterilization of white kids. Like, trans-people have kids, and if they don't choose to that's not actually a crime against their parents.
    In New Zealand:
    The Coastguard is a Charity
Air Traffic Control is a private company run on user fees
The DMV is a private non-profit
Rescue helicopters and ambulances are operated by charities and are plastered with corporate logos
The agriculture industry has zero subsidies
5% of the national vote, gets you 5 seats in Parliament
A tax return has 4 fields
    Business licenses aren't a thing
    Prostitution is legal
We have a constitutional right to refuse any type of medical care

The outcome is questionable but I like the menu. I think it the most hopeful, realistic, rhetoric for real change that I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. It is not just a theory or one person, there is a coalition of people with ideologies that seem to be on the same page.

Only time will tell. I am more hopeful today than ever before.

Let's not forget that a huge portion of society is excited about this. This is not some fringe candidate. If they wanted to cut waste, and make positive change they could.

Let's not forget that Trump was always in the news. The publicity and or statements would bring the issues into the daylight. The left hate him and many like him. The left cannot help themselves and will continue every attempt to make him look bad but that actually draws more attention to what is actually going on.

Positive change has never been more possible. If you don't get on this ship and can only find skepticism and fault, then you don't wan't change all you want to do is complain.

There is plenty of time to complain in the future. One thing is for sure is the current path is not sustainable.

    God Bless America!

Musk fired 80% of twitter employees and it is better than ever.

Musk wants to fire a significant portion of the government workers to make the ECONOMY more efficient.

If you don't think it is at least worth giving it a shot, you're on the wrong forum.

    So you are pro-sterilizing children?

I linked to an informative discussion in Post #14. BlackRock and Technocrats no longer need the numbers of people that it once did. What the Bankers and the Technocrats have planned can/will be done with fewer people controlling all of the resources. Instead of counting on "hopium", why don't you give the video a listen so that you can understand their plan and perhaps use that knowledge to push back?
