A whole new bureau tasked with making the other bureaus less inefficient.

Promising to grow government some more, but now in the name of "efficiency".

    That's an unfunny joke.

Unfortunately how else would you do it? Tell the department heads they have to make cut?

Eliminate the bureau and cut taxes accordingly. Tell the states they can do whatever it did if they feel it's necessary.

How else would a three time Ron Paul voter do it?

Yeah - that's Trump. But Joe manages to direct the conversation to lots of interesting places. It may be echo chamber stuff, but I'm pretty sure 90-95% of people who watch that will want Trump to win.

PLEASE let Kamala go on Rogan!!!

That would be the end of the Democrat party if they did that LOL

At 2:29:50 Trump gives a weird answer.... About the insane immigration Joe asks "Why are they doing it?" and Trump answers "Either 1. They hate our country 2. They're stupid, or 3. They want to buy votes."

Terrible answer, imo. This is a global phenomenon... Not just America. There's something a lot bigger going on.

Yeah, Trump is clueless to LOTS of things going on. He still thinks his assassination attempts were from foreign influences!

No way Trump actually believes that. He knows he can't go out there and accuse Democrats of trying to kill him.

So, there's a lot to pick apart in this interview, but here's one that I hadn't heard before. Trump had a new explanation for his Bolton nomination.

He called John Bolton a "useful idiot", a "nutjob", but that he was good in a certain way.

"And every time I had to deal with a country when they saw this whack job standing behind me they said: ‘Oh man, Trump’s going to go to war with us.’ He was with Bush when they went stupidly into the Middle East.”

Thoughts?? It didn't come across to me like Trump was coming up with a revisionist excuse - it seemed like he was really using Bolton as a leverage tool in negotiations.

That was always my impression of Trump's actual use of Bolton. Then Trump could play good cop to Bolton's bad cop. But even in that interview, Trump said he didn't know how bad Bolton really was until after he hired him.

I still think Trump is turning the GOP into more of a second party than it has been in years.

And the LP is a complete and utter joke after this 2024 debacle. I don't think it recovers, to be honest with you.

    I agree
It's all about taking action and not being lazy. So you do the work, whether it's fitness or whatever. It's about getting up, motivating yourself and just doing it.

    That's quite an interesting take.

The PRESS *is* supposed to have more power than a sitting president (or vice president).

It's just a damn shame that so much of the media would rather do the bidding of the state, rather than be the watchdog.
