Well if you're gonna include debased crap like USD and GBP that bear no resemblance to their former selves, you have to include every peso, since they are all derived from Spanish pieces-of-eight, which predate half of this chart.

Canada used full 80 percent silv tru 1966 , dollar coins were 6/10 oz silv wt, US 1/2 doll was 40 percent 1965 thru 1970, about 7 an oz of silv. Next yr makes 55 yrs of crap .
