Well the campaign has definitely been playing to his base recently. That's what the likes of Nick Fuentes told him to do. And....he's losing ground. Take from that what you will. He should take the advice of his old pal Bill Clinton. "It's the economy stupid." Even immigration doesn't have to be a divisive issue. That requires everything to be grounded in fact as opposed to hyperbole. No it's not the case that Venezuelan gangs took over an entire appartment building "New Jack City" style, but members of such a gang are on video brandishing their weapons and forcing their way into an appartment.

Even the Democratic mayor had to admit that part of the problem is "Venezuela doesn't cooperate with America on vetting criminals." Of course that gets to the root of the immigration problem. We have a horrible relationsihp with Venezuela because we've spent decades trying to overthrow that government in part because Venezuela has lots of oil. But you're not going to here "Let's have better relations with Venezuela in order to slow down mass migration and be able to vet those who do come to the U.S." from any candidate that's currently running except perhaps a Jill Stein or a Cornell West.

CBS's Adrianna Diaz visited restaurants in Reno, North Las Vegas, and Pahrump, Nevada to talk to diners about the 2024 election. She was surprised at how few Harris supporters she found, telling "CBS This Morning" that "people are really excited about Trump."

These polls are really bad for Harris, way below 2020 and 2016 numbers. I really don't think pollsters have solved the shy Trump voter problem from prior elections. So expect Trump to outperform the polls again. I think he can win it.

Hard to say. This is WAY too plausible for a steal. Many of the same rules are still in place that allow for mass cheating.
    • Early voting (ballot-stuffing) has already started in PA.
    • AZ, FL, GA, MI, NV, NC, OH, PA, VA, and WI all allow drop boxes.
    • There have been more than 3 million new naturalized citizens since the last election. As citizens, these people are legally allowed to vote.
    • Some accounts put the number of NEW illegal aliens in the country at 10 Million since the last election, not counting the ones who have been here longer. These people are not allowed to vote, but the controls to prevent that have been eroded.

Unless there is a dramatic shift where her victory is seen as not plausible, I think the Trump side needs to prepare themselves for a President Kamala and more complaining about the process.

If you want to look for optimism, I think the "surprises" are going to continue. Assassination attempts, coups, foreign entanglements, censorship, Fed policy... All ripe for shocks. Who knows what the next month and a half will hold?!

He's not a Democrat because Democrats threw him out of the party the way you think you threw Miss Lindsay out of the GOP?

A: we are talking about the current campaign which AG pretends to believe Trump is throwing.

    Stronger candidate? Stronger candidate?

Are we talking about Biden or Harris?

According to you, those footprints were left on him by people like Bolton, Pelosi and Fauci. And he had the power to fire two of the three at any time, and didn't.

We are not talking about any candidate in the current race, stop trying to confuse people.
We are talking about the entire deepstate that opposed him while he was in office and severely limited what he could accomplish, you are the one who tried to change the subject to that instead of this election.
He had limited power to fire the people who needed to be fired, both because of unconstitutional civil service laws and because of the political balance of power and the RINOs, and yet he did fire a number of people.
Bolton got absolutely nothing out of him, he gave him a powerless job and proceeded to ignore his ideas and humiliate him.
In this campaign nobody is walking all over him, and he certainly is not allowing it.

The thread's about the current race. His record is relevant to the current race, both as to intent and as to ability. You said, "We are talking about the current campaign" to begin that statement. And you think it's me who is being confusing?

Yes, you are the one who tried to change the subject back and forth to suit your twistings.
I said that Trump was not allowing anyone to walk all over him in this race, you tried to bring up the problems people caused him in his term in office even though that's not what we were talking about, so I explained how you were still being twisted and deceptive about that too, then I brought things back to the original subject of the race where nobody is walking all over him.

No, I asked you how he was no longer a Democrat. If you responded by not answering the question, while not making it obvious that you were refusing to answer the question, that makes you the one obfuscating.

But, of course, you did answer the question, whether you realize it or not:

You do realize that his loyalties could well still lie with the DNC, even if it is no longer what he considers ideal, right? Or are we all relying on your ability to read his mind again?

In any case, what you said about him sure reads like the definition of RINO.
