What he said is, he's going to "replace" sanctions with tariffs (as if there's a major difference) in defense of the Federal Reserve and the Petrodollar.

Were you hoping nobody watched the vid?

    LOL

Not in defense of the Fed, the Fed is trying to crash the dollar and the economy to usher in the Great Reset.
And tariffs are far preferable from any point of view.

    Try harder.

He said multiple times that "the dollar" (not "the new dollar" or "the old silver dollar", just "the dollar") must remain the world's reserve currency at all cost.

That's like "replacing" the war in Ukraine with a war on BRICS. He's essentially promising WWIII to preserve the Fed.

    Nice try, but no cigar.

If you want to gaslight people into believing he didn't say that multiple times, maybe you should be the one trying harder? Or, at least, don't post vids of him saying multiple times what you claim he didn't say...

Maybe he thinks it's possible that he could use the prospect of lifting sanctions to give him leverage in talks with Putin.

But, these sanctions aren't hurting Russia. That country has become more self-reliant amidst these sanctions. Whatever they can't produce themselves, they're getting from China.

Hell, maybe we should put sanctions on ourselves. Our economy could use a boost.

Russia central bank just raised interest rates to 20%

The idear that sanctions aren’t hurting them @ all is ludicrous

To be fair N hero is also correct, that sanctions have made them much more self reliant

    Per ChatGPT:
Central banks adjust interest rates based on economic conditions, and their decisions depend on whether they are aiming to stimulate or cool down the economy. Here’s how interest rate adjustments typically align with economic conditions:

    1. **In a Good (Growing) Economy**:
    - **Raising Interest Rates**: Central banks might raise interest rates in a strong or overheating economy. Higher interest rates can help prevent the economy from growing too quickly, which might lead to inflation. By increasing rates, borrowing becomes more expensive, which can slow down spending and investment, helping to keep inflation in check and avoid asset bubbles.

    2. **In a Bad (Weak or Recessionary) Economy**:
    - **Lowering Interest Rates**: In a weaker economy or during a recession, central banks typically lower interest rates. Lower rates make borrowing cheaper, which can encourage spending and investment by businesses and consumers. The goal is to stimulate economic activity, boost growth, and reduce unemployment.

    In summary:
    - **Good Economy**: Central banks may raise rates to manage inflation and prevent overheating.
    - **Bad Economy**: Central banks may lower rates to stimulate economic growth and support recovery.

These adjustments are part of monetary policy aimed at achieving stable prices, full employment, and sustainable economic growth.

You are the one gaslighting by adding words he didn't say and your ridiculous interpretation.

That's exactly what he's doing, replace sanctions on Russia with "sanctions" (tariffs) on our trade that will build our economy.
