Trump promises taxpayer funding of IVF or mandate for insurance to cover it

Anyone want to try to defend this?
There is nothing to fear from globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency, but a globalism where free trade is competitively subsidized by each nation, a continuous trade war is dictated by the WTO, and the single currency is pure fiat, fear is justified. That type of globalism is destined to collapse into economic despair, inflationism and protectionism and managed by resurgent militant nationalism.

Doesn't that make Trump the first candidate ever to advocate for taxpayer funding of abortion?

From a libertarian standpoint, no, cannot defend.

From a population crisis due to decline in birthrates standpoint, I dunno if this will do much to help, but it's something.

"We want more babies," Trump said.
From a moral standpoint, not sure but I think unless a husband and wife are having fertility issues there are certainly a lot of moral arguments against surrogacy outside of a marriage.

His full statement does say for those who "need it", which sounds like he is referring to couples with fertility issues as opposed to surrogacy.

From a population standpoint, aren't you at all worried that these extra babies born by IVF will take jobs that could have gone to other people?

I dont know a lot about IVF but pretty sure Ive worked places ins did cover it. Im guessing if you work a place ins doesnt and was forced to include it your portion of ins payment will increase by said amount. You could offer it possibly at minimal added cost if you didnt employ many young females like in some mnfg environments. I imagine employer ins plans are a big deal to some people and some could look for jobs based in part on it. Some employers may use better plans to lure in people.

    No big deal.

Crosses off the fitness and diversity (eugenics) Georgia Guidestones commandment.

More "Hegelian Dialectic" cash for big pharma and biotech. Create fertility problems via the vax and soy-laden food, then sell the solution for ridiculous amounts of money. And of course everyone else has to pay for it since neither government nor insurance will actually eat the cost.

Replace natural with artificial. It gives off a bit of a Handmaid's Tale vibe to me. Human incubators. How would the women receiving the fertilized egg really know whose sperm and egg it really is?

Some claim that IVF creates soulless humans. Interesting assertion, though not possible to prove of course.
