Yeah......I don't at all believe that. Communism is merely a means to an end. To give the people an illusion of being given something in exchange for what's being taken away. The goal is corporatism. There is more to it than that. Human freedom (political, economic and even religious) has emerged in one and only one civilization: Christian civilization. We have not always been perfectly free, and we have sometimes had tyrannies arise and be eradicated, but it is only here that human freedom has ever been politically possible. This makes Christian civilization the unique enemy of tyranny worldwide. And as much as moderns don't want to believe in the devil, the fact is, the devil is real and he is pulling the wool over everybody's eyes, except those who have their eyes opened by God, to see what is really going on, and how absolutely nothing whatsoever that happens is a "coincidence". No wars. No political movements. No riots. No assassinations or assassination-attempts. No church schisms. Etc. Zero percent of it is a coincidence. And this extends all the way down to the individual's own mind and heart, a reality that only the Gospel can prepare an individual to face, with God's help and power. For this reason, the Gospel is the only way out. If you think the devil doesn't exist, you are in for the shock-and-awe surprise of all time. You will certainly believe, sooner or later. And if you think the devil might exist but he's harmless or just a neutral satirist satirizing God for his supposed failures, again, you are in for the shock-and-awe surprise of all time. Amen, you're on the right path. We need collective repentance as a nation, but that always starts with individual repentance. So, we each (individually) need to throw out sin in our own lives, and then call on our fellow countrymen to do likewise. This has nothing to do with the usual sanctimonious virtue-signaling that attends Churchianity, and everything to do with allowing God to use us as vessels to call our nation to repentance. Obviously, he can't do that if we're harboring sin in our own lives, so we just have to throw it out. This is simple logic. In this way, it is possible for a nation to come to repentance if God fans the flames of repentance and so that is what we pray He will do...

I'd ask if you're absolutely certain that:
- the names in the chorus match the ones in the sex registry database
- the picture frames bordered in red in the choir photo match the names they're professed to be of.
Take David Wallace for instance. The name in the database is David Eugene Wallace, while the one in the chorus is David Shawn Wallace. You might say that's close enough, and that the portrait framed in red looks an awful lot like the David Eugene Wallace in the database - but supposedly, the David Shawn Wallace in the choir actually appears to the immediate left of the framed one in the choir portrait panels in the YouTube ... and he doesn't look remotely like the mugshot from the registry database. Plus, if he's using an alias that's not in the registry, then he's committing a crime by not keeping the registry updated - and someone really ought to report him for that.
I haven't checked beyond the Wallace entry from the YouTube - because just that one provided me with enough reasonable doubt about the YouTube that I don't want to waste any more time on it. I wish I had something more reliable than an entry in Wiki to refute the claim in the YouTube. But, by the same token, I wish there were something more reliable to prove the accusation than a YouTube. Do you know if there's a document to back up the YouTube's claims? Something that includes links to sources? And a match between names of chorus members and their photos in the portrait panels? And addresses of people in the database versus those in the choir (sex offenders are required, under penalty of law, to keep their data current in the sex offender registry)?
Sex offenders in the registry are typically forbidden to have contact with underage children. If the chorus has an outreach program to youth in the community, then there's probably a crime being committed due to a sex offender being in the chorus. So how would you prove that to a court (my bet is that the YouTube wouldn't be enough). That's what I'd like to see before I believe the accusation.

Do a search of the California Sex Offenders Registry and you find out that David Eugene Wallace resides in Norwalk, California (Los Angeles County) ... a long way from San Francisco. Why would the YouTube have omitted that information?

There are four David Lowes, but David is the first name and not the middle, nor do any live in or near San Francisco. There's another, Ronnie Gene Roberts, who has an alias of David Allen Lowe; but he's in Madera (not in or near San Francisco)
There are a load of Chris Smiths. The one the YouTube highlighted lives in Los Angeles County (though he's listed as a transient).
There are seven listings for David Diaz, though none are or have the alias of David A. Diaz. Four are incarcerated. None are in San Francisco, though one is in Alameda and another in Salinas.
There are no listings for Earl Friedberg.
I'll also note that the only name the YouTube attempts to match to the Chorus portrait panels was the first one on the list, and appears to have linked to the incorrect portrait on that one.

Christianity aside, although I am not a fan of watching and giving a damn about sports ball, I am all for the discipline one learns in athletic training. That's admirable especially for youth.
The Olympics is supposed to be the epitome of the discipline it takes to kickass with speed, power, endurance, skill, etc.

Larger than them though is who is pulling their strings. All of them need effort. I read somewhere that Tennessee had passed something to stop anything from the UN being imposed in their state. That’s a decent step. Most large cities have a government office solely to implement Agenda 2030. Others have gotten voting machines kicked out of their county. There are a ton of things to choose from. I am assuming you can walk and chew gum.

Parisians threaten to poop in the Seine ahead of Olympics

Just days before the Olympics, Paris is facing an unexpected issue: a group of citizens has threatened to relieve themselves in the Seine. This is a form of protest against the poor quality of the river's water, which will host events such as the marathon swimming and triathlon stages.
This movement has gained traction online under the hashtag #JeChieDansLaSeine, which translates to 'I poop in the Seine'. Those involved have achieved a double consequence with this creative protest: sparking public interest and putting the organisers of the Olympic Games on alert, adding extra pressure.
The threat has drawn international attention, especially at a time when the authorities have invested a record sum of Ł1,180,000 (€1,400,000) to clean the river, which has historically been highly polluted. For 50 years, the Seine received untreated sewage, leading to a ban on swimming in it since 1923. Despite recent efforts to improve the water quality, the added threat of contamination by some citizens is a major concern.

Although French politicians and the Mayor of Paris have tried to reassure the public, even making a symbolic gesture by taking a swim in the Seine, doubts about the water quality persist. E. coli tests carried out in June showed worrying levels during the week of the 22nd to the 30th. In fact, although the latest analyses conclude that levels have improved in July, experts warn that germs may still pose a problem for the athletes.
Bill Sullivan, Ph.D., a professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine who studies infectious diseases, explained, "If the weather stays sunny and dry, there’s a chance the faecal bacteria levels will fall into the safe range. But in the Olympics between humans and germs, the germs usually win." He added that the detection of E. coli in the river means there is 'literal poop in the water either from human sewage or soil erosion from farms that may have infected animals.
For her part, Olympic open water champion Ana Marcela Cunha has also expressed her concerns, saying that the Seine “is not made for swimming”. With the events set to begin soon, the key will be to ensure that the river is clean enough to guarantee the safety and well-being of the athletes.
As preparations continue, the threat of contamination from those citizens joining the hashtag #JeChieDansLaSeine adds an additional layer of complexity to the efforts of local authorities, who are striving to ensure that the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are a resounding success.

Sex is a lot more complicated than XX=Female and XY=Male. I'm not saying that's what's happening here; but I know of at least two circumstances that can cause an individual with XY chromosomes to turn out female.
One is XY gonadal dysgenesis (Swyer syndrome) - it's essentially a birth defect in which the genes responsible for producing testosterone at the critical sex-determining phase of fetal development are such that testosterone isn't produced in sufficient amounts to follow through with sex-determination as male. Individuals with this condition can sometimes give birth with the assistance of modern science (they have the biological equipment but cannot produce eggs). The incidence is about 1 in 100,000.
The other one is another abnormal condition during fetal development. I used to have a link for it, but can't put my hand on it now (sorry). If the mother's endocrine system is off-kilter and producing excessive amounts of estrogen during the sex-determination phase of fetal development (about six to seven weeks after conception) - it can overwhelm the testosterone of the developing XY-fetus, and the fetus will develop as female. I laughingly refer to it as Jurassic Park Syndrome because this concept (which is real) was used in the movie to ensure that all dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were females.
There are similar conditions that can cause XX-individuals to turn out male. Sex determination is really involved, and all the dominoes have to fall just right - sometimes they don't.
None of this explains why 38% of incoming freshman at Brown university identify as nonbinary. The conditions I mentioned above occur at birth defect rates (maybe 1 in 100,000). I suppose everything from pollution, microplastics, vaccines and who knows what else could upset the endocrine balance for the developing fetus (insert "Alex Jones Gay Frogs" meme here).
Maybe the Olympics ought to restrict female sports to individuals who have given birth. That seems to be the only way to be sure about sex. But how many medal winners in the Olympics have given birth? And to be fair, male athletes would have to show that they've sired a child (which, in western cultures, means either being married or paying child support)

It was Tucker on MSNBC who gave Chris Cilllizza the airtime to insert the newsletter crap into the media cycle right before Iowa as Ron was polling to probably win Iowa in 2008. (verified later in thread via my own linked posts in 2011)
The irony of that now is that, given the current political climate and Don's rhetoric, the same newsletter stuff would have probably given Ron a landslide in Iowa. Politics is strange.
I've realized that the old saying of "$#@! in one hand, wish in the other, see which fills up faster" is generally true so instead of cursing at the sky and putting myself in an early grave from stress, anxiety and anger at something I generally can't change, I'd rather engage with hispanics (again, can't comment on other immigrant races) as a much better adaption that could head off a situation where ultimately no one wins except TPTB. We can do things, yes, and like Ron said a long time ago, whichever path you take is up to you. Where I think the fail is, is that the VAST VAST amount of conservatives and libertarians are still merely hoping to vote a savior into office and doing nothing else. Larger than them though is who is pulling their strings. All of them need effort. I read somewhere that Tennessee had passed something to stop anything from the UN being imposed in their state. That’s a decent step. Most large cities have a government office solely to implement Agenda 2030. Others have gotten voting machines kicked out of their county. There are a ton of things to choose from. I am assuming you can walk and chew gum.

The question "what is a woman?" actually is a difficult question. To be clear, identifying a woman versus a man is not a difficult task. There may be a few difficult cases here or there, but these are exceptions that only go to prove the rule. In almost all cases, the difference is readily apparent. Obvious. But the question "what is a woman?" is difficult because there is much more to what makes someone a woman than merely their distinction from being a man. Thus, the current zeitgeist in certain quarters of conservatism that what it is to be a woman is obvious is subtly misleading. It is not at all obvious, but that's not because there's any difficulty in telling men and women apart!
The problem is that we are looking to science to tell us what a woman (or man) is, but science, by its very nature, can tell us no such thing. The answer to the question, "What is a woman?" has nothing to do with measurements -- not even anatomy. Obviously, anatomy is part of the answer, but the answer itself is something that transcends mere material attributes. A woman may have been born deformed, or mentally handicapped, or with some other defect. In her womanhood, she is no less a woman. The same goes for a man. Some people are eunuchs by birth or for other reasons. Again, this makes them no less a woman or a man. But they are definitely a woman, or definitely a man. Even those who are marginal for some reason will have to "pick a side" and stick with their choice, not because of "patriarchy" or some nonsense like that, but because God's creative architecture is fixed and error-free. It is sin that introduced error, deformity, dissatisfaction (including psychological dissatisfaction associated with one's body or other conditions of one's circumstances). All of these things spring from the root of sin and they are patterned on the devil. They are disfigurations of God's creation, disfigurations which God has healed in Jesus, if we believe. Thus, "the way out" is not through grumpy, boomer-ish platitudes, which will go nowhere. The way out is through Jesus. And it is he who unifies that which should be unified, separates that which should be separate, and thereby heals and redeems all of creation.
