Moderns are so ignorant of history. The Irish didn't own slaves. They WERE slaves. There was no such thing as an IRISHMAN named Hamilton Brown in the late 18th, early 19th century. This was while the British were enslaving and stealing Ireland. They shipped the Irish off to Jamaica or some wet willingly because their farms produce was being stolen and they worked as indentured servants. Kamala Harris is 1/32 decended from that man, and he was an ENGLISHMAN but in today's politically-correct and historically vapid parlance, they refer to him as "Irish" merely for the geographic fact that he was from Northern Ireland, an ORANGEMAN.
No, merely living in Ireland doesn't make you IRISH, the concept that it does is a fully modern psychological construct. She is, however, also descended from another poor, indentured Irishman, also at the 1/32 level, so she is 1/16th "White".
