Dems continue to try making it about guns and even January 6.
Republican leadership should consider offering angry, out-of-his-mind, Biden and his scuzzy family immunity, in exchange for admissions and proof regarding democrats corrupt practices since Trump's first campaign - including the entire J6 farce.
I haven't seen the whole hearing, but Ro Khanna may have had the most relevant and useful statement.

I think we will see her resignation in short order. She has no political cover. Yes, the Dems are grand-standing for gun-control but there is not a single "sympathetic voice" in the room. Biden was cover for her while he was holding on. Now, he's out. She is completely exposed to the elements and both parties are after her head. I will be shocked if she survives the week as director.

She keeps going on about "suspicious" versus "threatening" behavior.
So, a guy with a range finder that then gets up on a roof with a rifle, who then points it at a local law enforcement agent, is "suspicious" - not "threatening". They would only keep Trump off the stage if someone was threatening...

It only stands to reason that this would happen.
1) She's the current posterboy for what happens when you hire based on DEI and not merit. If they don't light her up then they're not drawing attention away from the irrefutable fact that DEI has failed, in the most spectacular way that doesn't involve a hot war or a broken arrow incident.
2) She's not only bad at her actual job, she's also spectacularly bad at politics. You have to be good at one or the other - that's the game. But she's not only completely incompetent, she's not even able to play it off. The whole country has front row seats to new proof that the state unapologetically and nonchalantly does not do the things we think it's supposed to do... so of course "both sides" are going to come together to cut off that conversation. Neither head of the two-party duopoly wants people to start thinking the stupefyingly obvious questions here like "hey what the actual $#@! are we paying half our income for and still manage to get this far in debt when this is what they deliver" - and that's why you see Republicans generally continuing to be polite and, again, talk about resigning as opposed to talking about impeachment and potential treason charges, when that is clearly what is warranted here.
3) The ones that aren't lighting her up (so far as I've seen) are ignoring the whole situation and pushing for gun control, so they think they're safe to make the retard-scumbag-opportunist move... but if they weren't such retard scumbag opportunists they'd light her up too since that's the only move that makes political sense for either side right now.

That's what he said wasn't surprising. Trump taking a bullet then raising the fist because she didn't prevent the whole thing put the POTUS vote away for the GOP so Democrats are mad at her.
