Secret Service Director Cheatle: Roof From Which Trump Assassin Fired Was Too Steep to Cover With Agents

“ Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, a top priority for whom is pushing women into positions for which they are unqualified, told ABC News why no law enforcement was on the roof of the building from which Thomas Matthew Crooks tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump.

The slope on the roof, she said, was too steep and dangerous. Crooks, apparently, didn’t know that.

The risible explanation immediately drew the ridicule it richly deserved. The sniper who shot Crooks dead was on a sloped roof, and experts say snipers operate from sloped surfaces all the time.

But again, regardless of if it was or not, that doesn't matter. They made plans based on the conditions of the site, so if there was a place with safety concerns that couldn't be addressed one way, then the response is to figure out what to do instead to remove the risk, not just put up your hands and say, "Oh well, I guess we'll just ignore that risk."

The 2 impeachments didn't work. The lawsuits and criminal indictments didn't work. The felony convictions didn't work. And their assassination attempt failed. And they have lame ass horse$#@! excuses for all of it.

I don't think they're done. If they're willing to go to these lengths, why would they possibly stop now? Watch out for a plane crash, or a poisoning, or a bombing... This show ain't over yet. And when they finally succeed, they'll blame Iran. Tag this post. They're not done.

If the tables were turned and the Secret Service dropped the ball like this resulting in a Democrat getting shot, I don't think Republicans would be shy about demanding accountability for that.
