With witnesses saying there were 2 shooters, you have the obvious blatant patsy on the roof, who was not going to survive.
And a backup in a second location should he miss.

Which roof? The roof where he shot from, or a different roof? Eyewitnesses said they saw him run up to the building only a few minutes before the shooting.

Haven't seen a picture. But at that close of a range, a regular sight with no scope could be used fairly accurately.

So many stories now of a LEO of some kind seeing the shooter and "reporting". Are these people cops or mall security guards? "Hey look at that suspicious guy over there! Somebody should do something."

SS will say they knew Police were at that address and had every reason to believe that the man on the roof was with the police.

Now it's come out that the shooter bought a ladder at Home Depot. This is looking more and more like this kid was fed info about how and where to do this and the cops and SS were told to stand down. It's even more likely this was allowed to happen.

Correct. In a dynamic environment iron sights are much nicer than a scope up until 300 yards or so? Statically a scope is always preferred of course.
To be honest, I doubt this kid has had much actual training with this firearm.

I read something from supposedly Cheatle, or whatever her name is, on X, where she said the equivalent of, they didn’t put anyone on the building, because it was sloped and therefore dangerous to the SS.
Does anyone know if this is true? Because that alone is outrageous.
