I think I have a thread on here still about how the story of Jules and Vincent is a great parable of repentance. Long story short, Jules got the message, repents and lives, Vincent did not get the message, remains defiant and dies on a toilet.

The message from God to America is that He has removed our protection. We are not under His grace and nationally (this is different than personally) we need to repent.

However, our leaders never yield, no matter how many signs He sends our way to humble us, the biggest ones I would say would be 9/11 and Covid.

Now even Trump, who repeatedly claims faith in God and Christ does not do any of these things. He defiantly pumps his fists while someone in the crowd took his bullet. He continues to pander to Christian nationalists and claims He will personally "fight evil" and "defend Christianity" as if the true church is something so pathetic and weak that it requires Trump to save it.

Trump assasinated Qasem Solemani, a man more righteous than him. Did he even repent of that? No. Instead he continues to fuel these messianic delusions among evangelical Israeli boot-licking morons that he is going to bring in the millenial kingdom Mohammed style by conquering all the baddies.

    Sad sad sad.

"May you live in interesting times" is an English expression that is claimed to be a translation of a traditional Chinese curse. The expression is ironic: "interesting" times are usually times of trouble.

That has been identified as papal Rome for hundreds of years by the reformers.... Luther, Calvin, Wycliffe, Tyndale, Knox, and others I'm sure... here's a quick summary I got out of ChatGPT regarding this

Summary: Reformers' Identification of the Papacy as the Beast in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, and Historical Context
    Reformers' View on the Papacy

Key figures of the Protestant Reformation, including Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wycliffe, William Tyndale, and John Knox, identified the papacy as the Antichrist, the little horn in Daniel 7, and the first beast in Revelation 13. Their critiques were based on detailed parallels between these biblical prophecies and the historical actions and claims of the Roman Catholic Church.
Parallels between Daniel 7 and Revelation 13
    Blasphemy

Daniel 7:8, 20, 25: The little horn speaks great words against the Most High.
Revelation 13:5-6: The beast speaks great things and blasphemies against God.
Reformers' View: Reformers saw the Pope's claims of divine authority and infallibility as blasphemous, fitting these descriptions.

    War Against the Saints

Daniel 7:21, 25: The little horn makes war with the saints and prevails against them.
Revelation 13:7: The beast makes war with the saints and overcomes them.
Reformers' View: Reformers identified the persecution of Christians who opposed the papacy as fulfillment of these prophecies.

    Speaking Great Things

Daniel 7:8, 20: The little horn has a mouth speaking great things.
Revelation 13:5: The beast is given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies.
Reformers' View: Reformers pointed to the Pope’s declarations and doctrines as arrogant and blasphemous.

    Time Period of Power

Daniel 7:25: The little horn has power for "a time, times, and half a time" (interpreted as 1260 years).
Revelation 13:5: The beast has power for forty-two months (interpreted as 1260 years).
Reformers' View: Reformers calculated the period of papal dominance from 538 AD to 1798 AD, aligning with these prophetic timeframes.

    Change in Religious Aspect

Daniel 7:24-25: The little horn attempts to change times and laws.
Revelation 13:2: The dragon gives the beast his power, seat, and authority.
Reformers' View: Reformers saw the papacy's introduction of unbiblical doctrines and practices as efforts to change divine laws.

    Captivity and Overthrow

Daniel 7:26: The dominion of the little horn is taken away and destroyed.
Revelation 13:10: The beast is led into captivity and killed with the sword.
Reformers' View: The capture of Pope Pius VI in 1798 by Napoleon’s forces was seen as the fulfillment of this prophecy.

Historical Context of the 1260 Years

    Beginning of the 1260 Years:
538 AD: The papacy gained uncontested religious and political power after the defeat of the Ostrogoths.
    End of the 1260 Years:
1798 AD: Napoleon’s General Berthier captured Pope Pius VI, marking the end of the papacy's temporal power.

    Restoration of Papal Power

    Early Restoration:
Concordat of 1801: Restored some of the Church's civil status in France.
Return from Exile: Pope Pius VII returned to Rome in 1814.
    Doctrinal Strengthening:
First Vatican Council (1869-1870): Defined the doctrine of papal infallibility, bolstering the Pope's spiritual authority.
Loss and Re-establishment of Temporal Power:
Capture of Rome (1870): The Papal States were lost to the Kingdom of Italy.
Lateran Treaty (1929): Established Vatican City as an independent sovereign state, restoring the Pope's temporal sovereignty.
    Modern Influence:
Second Vatican Council (1962-1965): Modernized the Church and enhanced its global influence.

    Reformers' Interpretations

Martin Luther: Identified the papacy as the Antichrist and the beast, citing its blasphemous claims and persecution of dissenters.
John Calvin: Critiqued the papal system for leading the Church into idolatry and superstition, aligning with the beast's blasphemies.
John Wycliffe: Early critic who saw the papal system as corrupt and oppressive, fitting the prophetic descriptions.
William Tyndale: Condemned the Pope’s usurpation of Christ's authority and the Church's persecution of reformers.
John Knox: Opposed the papacy's spiritual and temporal power, viewing it as fulfilling the prophecies of the Antichrist and the beast.

In summary, the major Protestant reformers identified the papacy as the little horn in Daniel 7 and the first beast in Revelation 13, critiquing its blasphemous claims, persecution of true Christians, and deviations from biblical teachings. This interpretation was central to their theological critique and their efforts to reform the Church, emphasizing the historical period of papal dominance from 538 AD to 1798 AD and its subsequent restoration of power.

Direct Quotes from Reformers Identifying the Papacy as the Little Horn and Antichrist
    Martin Luther

    Quote:
"We here are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the true and real Antichrist... Personally, I declare that I owe the Pope no other obedience than that to Antichrist."
    Reference:
Luther, Martin. The Babylonian Captivity of the Church (1520).

    John Calvin

    Quote:
"Some persons think us too severe and censorious when we call the Roman pontiff Antichrist. But those who are of this opinion do not consider that they bring the same charge of presumption against Paul himself, after whom we speak and whose language we adopt... I shall briefly show that (Paul’s words in 2 Thess. 2) are not capable of any other interpretation than that which applies them to the Papacy."
    Reference:
Calvin, John. Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book IV, Chapter 7, Section 25.

    John Wycliffe

    Quote:
"Why is it necessary in unbelief to look for another Antichrist? In the Pope we clearly see a wicked Lucifer, condemning Christ, doing against Christ and preying on Christ's people. Therefore, I say, that though the bishop of Rome and all his cardinals and all his followers should wound the body of the Church, they will never succeed in taking away a single soul."
    Reference:
    Wycliffe, John. Trialogus.

    William Tyndale

    Quote:
"The pope's pardons are not of power to forgive the least sin... but they give pardon of all sins past, present, and to come, to them that fight in the pope's quarrel. And who can be more antichrist?"
    Reference:
Tyndale, William. The Practice of Prelates (1530).

    John Knox

    Quote:
"Yea, to speak it in plain words: lest that we submit ourselves to Satan, thinking that we submit ourselves to Jesus Christ, for, as for your Roman Church, as it is now corrupted, and the authority thereof, wherein stands the hope of your victory, I no more doubt but that it is the synagogue of Satan, and the head thereof, called the Pope, to be that man of sin, of whom the apostle speaks."
    Reference:
Knox, John. The First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstrous Regiment of Women (1558).

    Additional Reference: John Wesley

    Quote:
"He is in an emphatical sense, the Man of Sin, as he increases all manner of sin above measure. And he is, too, properly styled the Son of Perdition, as he has caused the death of numberless multitudes, both of his opposers and followers... He it is... that exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped... claiming the prerogatives which belong to God alone."
    Reference:
Wesley, John. Explanatory Notes upon the New Testament, Note on 2 Thessalonians 2:3.

Interpretation and Connection to the Antichrist
The Little Horn and the Antichrist

Blasphemy and Usurpation of Divine Authority:
Reformers saw the papacy's claims to divine authority, such as infallibility and the power to forgive sins, as blasphemous. This is linked to the description of the little horn in Daniel 7:25, which "shall speak great words against the most High."
They equated these claims with those of the Antichrist, who is described in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 as one who "opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped."

    Persecution of the Saints:
The little horn in Daniel 7:21 is said to make war with the saints and prevail against them. Reformers identified this with the historical persecution of dissenters and reformers by the Roman Catholic Church.
This persecution is seen as a characteristic of the Antichrist, who wages war against the true followers of Christ.

    Change of Times and Laws:
Daniel 7:25 says the little horn will "think to change times and laws." Reformers saw this as the papacy's establishment of unbiblical doctrines and practices, such as the change of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.
The Antichrist, in their view, would be one who alters God's laws and introduces false teachings.

    Duration of Dominion:
The little horn is given power for "a time, times, and half a time" (Daniel 7:25), interpreted as 1260 years. Reformers saw this as corresponding to the period of papal dominance from AD 538 to 1798.
The Antichrist's rule, according to Revelation 13:5, lasts for forty-two months, which reformers also interpreted as 1260 prophetic days/years.

    Conclusion

Reformers like Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wycliffe, William Tyndale, and John Knox identified the papacy as both the little horn of Daniel 7 and the Antichrist described in the New Testament. They pointed to the papacy's blasphemous claims, persecution of dissenters, doctrinal changes, and long period of dominance as evidence of its fulfillment of these prophecies. These interpretations were foundational to their critique of the Roman Catholic Church and their call for reform.

People are already twisting scripture here, so I'd say it's already been put out in the leftist talking points.

I have lots of friends and family there. Really hope no one else was hit.

I would be remiss if I didn't throw out the possibility that this was faked.

This would be the easiest, most optically advantageous way to do it.

Even if true, the problem with playing the Fake News game is you get the boy-who-cried-wolf problem. You want to openly lie to the entire American public on national TV, suit yourself, but payback is a beyotch. WTC7 and its many cousins prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that nobody's going to believe this was faked.

PS: I see no indications that this is fake. There are countless leftist-loonies who would be willing to make the strike, and a dead Trump is precisely what Resident #46 needs more desperately than oxygen...

So you will not be satisfied unless Trump dies ... everything else is fake to make Trump win.. EVERYTHING is done on purpose so that Trump is elected.

acptulsa and so many here on this forums are complete degenerates.

It pure godly luck Trump is alive tonight. A sign of God. Nicked his ears.. Do you know how hard it is to shoot long range ? Or How easy. Not sure anymore But this is not a fake. Trump would never take his chance aasking a sniper to nick his ears when Biden is dying on stage.
