My choice of third person pronouns for myself is generally irrelevant. I'm not typically involved in the conversations that use them. It's other people referring to me in the third person, usually from a distance. I'm not a conversational partner in those exchanges. Those people could be referring to me as "That A$$hole" or "That Motherfukker" for all I know.

To be honest, for years when I watched politicians avoid answering questions by talking about completely unrelated subjects, I wondered how you could tell the difference if they were just avoiding the question or if they were demented or bat$#@! crazy. I guess I know now.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Part of the other concern is that-- this seems to fit into a pattern of decline that has been reported on recently. New York Times had a headline on July 2nd, "Biden's lapses are said to be increasingly common and worrisome." Here's what they wrote.
"People who've spent time with President Biden over the last few months or so said the lapses appear to have grown more frequent, more pronounced, and after Thursday d-- Thursday's debate, more worrisome. By many accounts, as evidenced by video footage, observation, and interviews, Mr. Biden is not the same today as he was even when he took office three-and-a-half years ago." Similar reporting in The Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal. Are you the same man today that you were when you took office three-and-a-half years ago?
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: In terms of successes, yes. I also was the guy who put together a peace plan for the Middle East that may be comin' to fruition. I was also the guy that expanded NATO. I was also the guy that grew the economy. All the individual things that were done were ideas I had or I fulfilled. I moved on.
And so, for example, you know, "We-Well, that was true then, what's Biden done lately?" Di-you-just just see today, just announced 200,000 new jobs. We're movin' in the direction that no one's ever taken on. I know you know this from days in-- in-- in the-- in the government.
I took on big pharma. I beat them. No one said I could beat them. I took on all the things we said we got done, were told we couldn't get done. And part of it is what I said when I ran was I wanted to do three things: Restore some decency to the office, restore some support for the middle class instead of trickle down economics both from the middle out and the bottom up the way the wealthy still do fine, everyone does better, and unite the country.
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: But what has all that work over the last three-and-a-half years cost you physically, mentally, emotionally?
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: Well, I-- I-- I just think it cost me a really bad night, bad run, but, you know, I-- George. I have-- I'm optimistic about this country. I don't think we're a country of losers that he points out. I don't think America's in tough shape. I think America is on the cusp of breaking through in so many incredible opportunities.
In this next term, I'm gonna make sure we gotta-- straighten out the tax system. I'm gonna make sure we're in a situation where we have healthcare for all people, where we're in a position where we have-- have childcare and eldercare, free up-- and all these things.
One thing I'm proudest of is, remember when my economic plan was put forward? A lot of the mainstream economists said, "This is not gonna work." Guess what? We now have 16 Nobel laureates, 16 of 'em in economics saying that "Biden's next term would be a sig-- enor-- based on what he wants to do, enormous success." Trump's plan would cause a recession and sig-nif-- gi-- increase inflation. I've made great progress, and that's what I plan on doin'. And we can do this.
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: I-- I-- I understand that, and I'm not disputing that. What I'm asking you is-- about your personal situation. Do you dispute that there have been more lapses, especially in the last several months?
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: Can I run the 100 in 10 flat? No. But I'm still in good shape.
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Are you more frail?
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: No.

Stop abusing the man, already. I don’t like him, but I don’t support torture either.
Just a matter of time now…
"And now that the legislators and do-gooders have so futilely inflicted so many systems upon society, may they finally end where they should have begun: May they reject all systems, and try liberty; for liberty is an acknowledgment of faith in God and His works." - Bastiat

Biden admitting that the Biden admin had being expanding NATO even as far into Asia and then they wonder why China is with Russia?

He also said everyday was a cognitive test for him since he’s basically running the entire world. Any POTUS who thinks it’s America’s job to be the center of the entire planet doesn’t understand America’s intended role. Not to mention the inherent hubris.
Given that his wife, Dr. Jill, has a doctorate in education, I figured that she would have filled him in on how to cope with a noisy classroom. They had a week to prepare him for debating Trump. A review of Trump's debates with Hillary would have led them to expect Trump's tactics.GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: And-- how-- how quickly did it-- did it come to you that you were having that bad night?
PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: Well, it came to me I was havin' a bad night when I realized that even when I was answering a question, even though they turned his mic off, he was still shouting. And I-- I let it distract me. I-- I'm not blaming it on that, but I realized that I just wasn't in control.
And not being in control? If he can't handle the stress of dealing with Trump being loud and obnoxious, how does he manage to deal with stress in a major internation event. Actually, it sounds like he was in the beginning stages of a Derealization and/or Depersonalization (mental health) event. And the blank/detached stare he had during the debate provides further evidence to that.

From what I am seeing, this interview didn't help Biden.
Also it looked fake. The audio didn't match up with his lip movements and at times it looked like Biden's face went fuzzy like some filter they were using messed up.
I don't think anyone will believe anything that Biden does from now on that isn't live.

I suggest you find the dissertation she wrote to get that doctorate. It was so poorly written at an elementary level. If I would have turned that in in 4th grade I would have failed, and that's not hyperbole. Biden got the university more federal money and that's the only reason she passed and has the doctor title. Honestly pedo Joe even in his senility is probably more well spoken than "Dr" Jill.
Matt, I wrote what I did with some hyperbole (and tongue in cheek) ... that a president with an acknowledged expert in education as a wife would surely have been coached in how to deal with, or at least cope with, disruptions in a classroom/conference-room type of environment. You seem to have been triggered by use of "DOCTOR Jill Biden" (which is something that conservative opinion shapers went off on some time ago).
I would really like to believe that Jill Biden is a pretentious twit that insists upon being addressed as DOCTOR based upon her work and final dissertation (but which has been recognized as being substandard). But, if you're going to state it the way you did, then you at least owe readers like me a link to the work rather than "I suggest you find"; otherwise you come across as having never read the work yourself and having shaped your opinion based upon regurgitating what conservative opinion shapers have told you. Where did you come across the work and can you provide me directions as to how to find it myself (it appears that I need to contact the University of Delaware; is that what you did?)? Do you have a link? I found something in Google Documents but it was missing half of the pages (which is never a good sign ... as though it was tailored to provide a bad impression). And snippets don't work for me - I need to see the context they fit into.

I'm tellin' y'all, he's gonna die in office. This is calculated. This interview was staged as an opportunity to paint him in the best possible light before they kill him. They have maximum two weeks left in their window because they still need to educate the entire country about why it's ok to bait-and-switch at the convention and that's actually what the convention is for, but there's no possibility of doing that if he's still alive.
They already did this 60 years ago and totally got away with it. The only difference now is that they've proved with Epstein they can make up some cock-and-bull story that bears zero scrutiny and people will still believe it. It's going to have to be heart attack or something non-neurological and definitely not pillow-related.
WHAT THE F*** DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN???
Bidens clearly best dems ave. Undefeated in elections since 1969 going against a .500 guy and a lot of states already in bag, only need to fudge numbers in a few and everyting still same to allow it. Its 50 / 50 now if biden wins, best case scenario for trump , probably more like biden 51 percent

{Dave Smith | 07 July 2024}
On this episode of Part Of The Problem, Dave looks at Joe Biden's sit down interview where he tries to assuage the American people's opinion of his mental state, and then Dave responds to Chris Cuomo and his recent interview where he brings up his problems with Libertarians, like Dave.
I know it was tongue and cheek, but the point stands. I love how people on the Internet except you to do the searching for them. It was published during the last election cycle and that's when I read it. I don't work for you and certainly don't have time to do it right now. If you are curious enough to read it yourself you can do the work to find it yourself, or you don't have to. Why I would do it is beyond absurd.
Stephanopoulos just said he doesn't think Biden can serve 4 more years.
