President Biden delays US troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan until 20th anniversary of 9/11 attacks

A plan put in place by former president Donald Trump had set a leaving date of 1 May, something agreed with the Taliban.

According to that, it wasn't Biden who torched that plan...

He could have had those 2500 people safely out before Election Day, but apparently someone didn't kiss his fat ass hard enough.

After October the plan was still on track to have us out by the agreed date in May.
Trump was ahead of schedule and used that to make it clear to the Taliban that they had to follow their end of the bargain by slowing down withdrawal in a way that only cost some of the time he was ahead of schedule.

Biden got in and deliberately violated the plan by delaying all the way to September to try and provoke the Taliban to abandon the plan altogether and keep the war going.
He didn't delay the withdrawal as part of keeping the Taliban to their end of the deal, he halted it so that even when we did leave it was without all the equipment we left behind and it was a chaotic mess.

That's not what your source says. So, are you back to making things up again?

Try reading instead of cherry picking, there are two articles:

President Biden delays US troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan until 20th anniversary of 9/11 attacks
    Tuesday 13 April 2021

A plan put in place by former president Donald Trump had set a leaving date of 1 May, something agreed with the Taliban.

The withdrawal of all US troops from Afghanistan is being delayed until 11 September - the 20th anniversary of the al Qaeda terror attacks on America.
President Joe Biden has pushed back the departure by just over four months, in contrast to the previous planned full exit date of 1 May set by his predecessor, Donald Trump.

There are currently around 2,500 US troops in Afghanistan, as well as about 1,000 British troops.

The Trump administration had agreed with Taliban insurgents that US forces would leave on 1 May.
A Taliban statement released last month threatened a return to violence should the deadline be missed.

The plan was still on track and Biden delayed it BEFORE this article, this is just when he announced his stupid excuse about waiting for 20 years to the day from 9/11.

Trump's temporary delay did not put things behind schedule and nobody in either article claimed it did, you just made that up.

Biden was trying to break the deal and keep the war going.

Doesn't change the fact that the other article said Trump could have had them safely out by Election Day, if he had been less worried about getting his fat ass kissed.

Trump never tried to prevent anything Biden did. His administration set up this debacle even though he could have prevented it (and Congress couldn't have stopped the Commander in Chief), he proudly financed the Death Jab, he financed Federal Drag Queen Story Hours. His term was nothing but a springboard for the Biden Administration's abuses. He put them in a position to do it all.

    This is chess?

Congress absolutely could interfere, they passed a veto proof budget forbidding him from withdrawing troops from S. Korea without permission from the Pentagon for example.

Trump had to manage the withdrawal so that while he was in charge in an election year it didn't become the kind of debacle Biden turned it into or just be something the media could pretend was such.

Trump set up a successful withdrawal and got it far enough along and well enough managed that Biden couldn't stop it even though he tried.

He didn't finance drag queens, Congress did in veto proof budgets.
The jab was something he had no choice about in an election year, especially after he was crucified for pushing alternative therapies.

He did nothing to set up Biden's abuses.

We were better off under him before covid than before he got in, and covid was something the entire global cabal bent every ounce of their power to force on everyone, but he still blunted the impact from it.

Thank you for sticking to such an amusing source of fan fiction.

Veto proof. The Commander in Chief can't do anything without Pentagon permission because budget. This $#@!'s priceless!

"I understand that the U.S. is preparing to withdraw one brigade in case negotiations with South Korea do not go as well as President Trump wants," a diplomatic source in Washington with knowledge of the negotiations was cited as saying by South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo.
There are about 28,500 U.S. troops in South Korea. A brigade is about 3,000-4,000 troops, Chosun said, and a potential reduction would be within the bounds of the National Defence Authorization Act for fiscal year 2019, passed by the U.S. Congress.

None of the funds authorized by the act may be used to reduce the total number of U.S. military in South Korea below 22,000 unless the Secretary of Defense certifies the necessity to Congress committees.
