What about it? Remember Hillary whining in '16?
No way. Yet, you have to admit this: Since they stuck McCain in people's faces, Republicans have been increasingly restive. That's what fueled the Ron Paul phenomenon. Now they're deliberately antagonizing the same people, who just happen to be the most productive, most necessary workers, and the demographic with the most guns, too. You don't think Trump will make a good pacifier for them? You don't think threatening to withhold Trump from them will make them even more willing to be pacified by him when they do get him? Do they seem to be in the mood to hold his feet to the fire until he keeps his promises? Are you?
Think about it.
Even as technical progress should be making us all rich as Croesus, they're systematically lowering our expectations. They literally have us on our knees begging, "Don't make it worse!"

If a state wants to pass a law as far as who is eligible and who isnt, Im fairly certain that power is delegated to the States, not at a Federal level. Quite possible I am wrong but if it is done at a State level, we know exactly why they had to push the Felony Guilty charge through as fast as possible! Please correct me if I am wrong tho...

That doesn't mean they might not try again, though.

Donald Trump Convicted | Part Of The Problem 1128

{Dave Smith | 04 June 2024}
On this episode of Part Of The Problem, Dave and Robbie discuss the multiple felony conviction of Donald Trump. We then take a look at the Libertarian Candidate for President and some of his recent takes on Reason.
BLM & Antifa rioted all summer of 2020. Left wing prosecutors, mayors, governors, lawyers organizations, all covered for them. The fraudulently raked in hundreds of millions of dollars which went straight into the pockets of a few and nobody has been prosecuted. Prior to that, there were numerous violent attacks at speaking engagements on campuses. No prosecutions. For several years violent criminals have been let go without being prosecuted. January 6th rioters? Over 1000 in jail or prison. Old lady abortion protesters, in jail. How can you can not see exactly where the establishment is?

Ever study history? It's an absolute fact that, once totalitarianism regimes take power, they shoot their best useful idiots first. They're no longer useful, they're malcontents, and they're still idiots.
They don't care about party, but they want you to. They want to piss conservatives off enough to get these self-styled protectors of the Constitution to throw it away.
What have they cast in stone? Why are you acting like nothing can ever change? This is an abusive relationship, and one of the hallmarks of those us the abused bounces in and out if favor constantly, and seemingly randomly.
Come on. There aren't two deep states and a psyop is a con game. Nothing static about it. You're looking to see where you stand, and abusers are looking to ensure you never know.

I don't see why not. They sure did gain a lot from his last tenure as president.

Ron PaulThere is nothing to fear from globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency, but a globalism where free trade is competitively subsidized by each nation, a continuous trade war is dictated by the WTO, and the single currency is pure fiat, fear is justified. That type of globalism is destined to collapse into economic despair, inflationism and protectionism and managed by resurgent militant nationalism.

I totally agree. Trump was a terrible president, only slightly less terrible than Biden and Obama. The federal government doubled in size under his watch. A lot of the price inflation we're seeing now is from the spending, borrowing and printing during Trump's term.
But this is so obviously a fake, show trial. I don't see how anyone on this forum could disagree. Even if you ignore the fact that these trials are all made up charges, what are the odds that Trump gets charged with all these things, most of them from many years ago, right before the election??? It's mathematically impossible to be a coincidence.
To me the idea of jailing your political opposition is much wore than anything Trump has done.
I've been wondering about something similar. The commonly held theory here is that the deep state is in control and they hate trump because he's an outsider. Maybe it's more of a republican/democrat thing, not insider/outsider? Maybe they hate trump because he's a republican that is favored to win? The media hated bush and he seemed pretty "insider/deep stateish" to me. And they loved obama and biden. My guess is the media and deep state will hate the next republican favored to win, no matter what. I think the truth is probably a combination of both. The deep state and media both like the status quo and the left.

At the minion level, it is partisan. At the higher levels, they hate Trump because, although he's stupid and able to be manipulated, he's not inclined to cede US sovereignty to international bodies or go along with Agenda 2030. Pulling the US out of the Paris Climate Accord really pissed them off because that's both a money make for them and THE way to transfer wealth out of US. Trump knows the US can't run on windmills and solar panels and is into fossil fuels. That's in direct opposition to Agenda 2030 and sending us into the stone age which is their goal.

I think Trump's ego is a liability for the deep state.
For example, he has the audacity to think that being commander-in-chief means he is supposed to be the commander. He doesn't know that he's just supposed to eat ice cream, mumble incoherently, and sign off on whatever the Pentagon puts on his desk. I would say that having a president who actually has final say over the military ended shortly after Eisenhower's presidency. He was probably the last commander-in-chief.
Of course, Trump's ego is as much a liability for those who support him as well, as he seems to have a serious issue with taking advice from people who want him to be successful. And he doesn't take constructive criticism well, as evidenced by his spat with Thomas Massie, which boiled over into threatening his seat. (thankfully that's up to the people of Kentucky, not Trump)
And he still won't admit that Warp Speed was a mistake, because that would be a sign of weakness (in his eyes).

I agree with most of that except I don't think the people at the highest levels of government want to send us to the stone age. At least not on purpose. I think they want what everybody wants. Lots of money and a cushy lifestyle. And so they want to stay in power and the best way to stay in power is to keep the economy intact. The problem is they want short term solutions to keep the economy going. Which means spending, borrowing and printing which will ultimately lead to hyperinflation, which is the end game that they don't want.
