Dave Smith is right. Republicans are there to lose. They're good at it and seem to love it. Like he says, Trump's big platform plank is fixing Obamacare. How is that a win for conservatives? Or anyone else but the Medical Industrial Complex?

And people wonder how I can say Republicans are fully well capable of giving the Constitution away if they can claim that's a W. You people are capable of trashing the Constitution and calling that a win. And you're about to get the chance, too, because you love to be played.

Part of the Problem: "How neocons wrecked the country."

Another Part of the Problem: Many republicans remain in denial, and/or would rather blame the other side than to hold their own party fully accountable.

Another Part of the Problem: The moment one hears "DEFUND IT", they look the other way.

Tucker Carlson asks Dave Smith [see this thread - OB] about the @LPMisesCaucus takeover [see this thread - OB] and the decision to invite Donald Trump to the @LPNational Convention.

@angela4LNCChair's decision to invite Trump, RFK, and Vivek to the convention is the wisest political move the party has ever made. It is an acknowledgment of political and cultural realities:

I used to think the answer to reducing government was to change the voting laws to some sort of net taxpayer rule but now I think it's either too easy for the government to get around the rules or the rules are too invasive. My top contender now is to end the fed. With real free market money, it's more likely that voters will feel the downside of that "free stuff" because the government will have to raise taxes.

This country will die before a Javier ever sees office.

Every time that I go to another country, as stoopid as they are, they tell me how stoopid 'Mericans are.

Yeah, I agree. Smaller countries have turned it around like New Zealand for example. But we're too damned big I'm afraid. My guess is nothing happens until we get hyperinflation. Then we either do the right thing or go all in on socialism.
