I was a member of the LP in the early 90's and figured out what a circular firing squad $#@!show it was. Trump standing in the middle of that is EPIC!

When I said precisely, I was speaking to the libertarian principles and solutions, not to any party. But yeah, Trump attending that as a speaker... there is absolutely no hope for this country anymore. Anybody even considering him is a CLOSET fascist-communist.

I've listened to Dave Smith a few times before (not concerning this, admittedly), he's not my "cup of tea" lol.

As Jacob stated in the video, many in that "Libertarian" party support the republican agenda; centralized government "solutions".

But yes, I agree, Jacob is the real deal ;-)

What the heck kind of religion is this? Christians don't treat Joseph like that. A religion for conspiracy theorists...

The fact, if that's of any interest, is that it was grandpa Fred who was the self-made man of the line.

The only thing I have to say about this is, I think it is good for Trump to meet with libertarians. Trump should listen to libertarians more than he should talk. He could and should learn from libertarians. Trump should put libertarians in charge of the Treasury and economic policy. I don't expect any of this to happen unfortunately though.

    Department of the Treasury
    Secretary Ron Paul

    Department of Justice
    Attorney General Andrew Napolitano

Department of Health and Human Services
    Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
    Citizen of Arizona
    @cleaner4d4

I am a libertarian. I am advocating everyone enjoy maximum freedom on both personal and economic issues as long as they do not bring violence unto others.

    That is incorrect.

Fred put little Freddy Jr. in a position to become Trump, but he failed miserably, and Trump succeeded masterfully.

What if Fred Jr. didn't want to be a narcissist who whores for attention by talking like a third grade bully and striking Mussolini poses? If so, he didn't fail. You have to attempt before you can fail.

    Believe what you want.

    They're real.

    Not sightly unbelievable.

If Trump says we need to end all foreign welfare, including to Izrael, that's something you should question.

    Dear President Trump,

I’m grateful to you for calling attention to the rigged polling methodologies that biased DNC-influenced media have used against you. We have this concern too, and I’m happy to show you the deceptive methodologies used by DNC-allied pollsters who pretend that I’m in single digits. You have correctly characterized these as “fake polls.”

This is why we did our own poll with Zogby — the largest and most accurate poll of this election cycle. We had Zogby ask about head-to-head matchups. (1) You versus President Biden. (2) Me versus President Biden. (3) Me versus you. The results? You beat President Biden handily. I crush him as well, by even more. And against each other, I beat you in a nail-biter.

In a three-way, you are ahead but I’m coming up strong. Two new polls (CNN and Quinnipiac) have me above the 15% debate threshold. Another (Activote) has me at 26% among young voters. And you and I are tied among America’s 70 million Independents.

I’m also drawing a lot of voters from your former supporters. They are upset that you blew up the deficit, shut down their businesses during Covid, and filled your administration with swamp creatures.

So I’d like to make you an offer. We’re both going to be speaking at the upcoming Libertarian convention on May 24 and 25. It’s perfect neutral territory for you and me to have a debate where you can defend your record for your wavering supporters.

You yourself have said you’re not afraid to debate me as long as my poll numbers are decent. Well, they are. In fact, I’m the only presidential candidate in history who has polled ahead of both major party candidates in head-to-head races.

So let’s meet at the Libertarian convention and show the American public that at least two of the major candidates aren’t afraid to debate each other. I asked the convention organizers and they are game for us to use our time there to bring the American people the debate they deserve!

    Sincerely,
    Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

    Oh boy is this great!
The whole narrative is absurd on its face - at the same time the USA was both founded on White supremacy, slavery, and genocide, yet always meant to be a place that infinity Africans, Indians, and South Americans could come for a "better life"? - Unknown

He won't accept. And it doesn't matter what he looks like. His supporters would make up excuses for him if he popped up looking like Flip Wilson playing Geraldine. And millions of others just think it's him or Biden, who is obviously even more stupid, more incompetent and more crooked.

I don't think so. Mostly everyone knows about RFK Jr. now and as this race gets into the summer I expect him to bump higher after being admitted on more state ballots.
Don't underestimate seeing his name on the ballot is going to wake a lot of people up. I also suspect that Shanahan will become an asset with women under 50.

Very fortunate that he's not the only contender.

That said, these days it's emotionalism and personal attacks that makes a candidate look mainstream.

    TDS on display?

I'm not sure. Some libertarians like having their own club. They want a safe space insulated from the mayhem of the two major parties. (Even though getting 2 or more libertarians to agree on the specifics of anything is damn near impossible.) I actually agree with Jacob on many of his characterizations of Trump - I just wish more people would see the humor in the whole farce. And getting 2 of the top 3 candidates to address the party is something I never thought the LP would ever pull off.
