I could be wrong. But I doubt it. Kamala didn't win a primary, and if she had tried to, she would have lost.
People may say they want to see a woman president. But they have subtle subliminal expectations that go against that. She can't be too feminine, because she won't come across as a leader. She can't be too masculine, because as a woman that will make her unlikable. Harris's voice is annoying. She sounds like a valley girl. That brings up associations that will cause people to prejudge her as a moron, and in Kamala's case this will be correct. Her laugh is annoying. Her background of getting her foot in the political door by having an affair with a powerful man is no secret, just like everybody always knew that Hillary would never have been a senator if she hadn't been married to Bill. Having her on the ticket was a drag for the Biden campaign, just like every other ticket in history that had a woman on it was harmed by doing so. Just like only a tiny percent of CEOs, governors, and world leaders are females.
People's ideologies may say they want more woman leaders. But their natural human instincts that guide their decisions on a guttural level say they don't. Even in feminist households, everybody knows by experience that when you want the kids to listen, dad's voice has an effect that mom's voice doesn't.
