In this video I discuss a story about crumbling infrastructure based in New York City. The Amtrak line that goes from Manhattan to Albany had to be shutdown due to the discovery that a sidewalk at a Hell's Kitchen parking lot has a hole in it that is indicative of major structural damage in the area.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't care.

However, what is happening in NYC is happening is every large city in the country.

Disgruntled city folk are fleeing to flyover country where I live and are driving up the prices and bringing their politics with them.

I almost hope that VVPutin lets a few fly so that the vermin are exterminated in their clusters before too many of them escape.

One of the first things you will notice is: nothing works, nothing gets cleaned, nothing gets picked up, nothing gets painted, nothing gets fixed.

I have no desire to pay anything toward improving or updating infrastructure that is not useful to me. People that use Subway's, Trains, Buses, should be the ones to pay for their construction, maintenance, and repair. Furthermore, I think that taxes are based on maintenance and repair. So if the city, state or Federal Government charge taxes to maintain something and then they let it fall into disrepair, they already were paid to maintain it.

My guess is if Mr. Donald J. Trump owned the parking garage, the Subway System, or any failing infrastructure he would be under investigation for not being proactively maintaining the property and would probably be criminally indicted.

Wall St. can pay for it. Lock down the parking garage closet to the NYSE and appropriate the cars. Probably net a quarter billion dollars.

Probably cause the NYSE to become the NJSE, too, but short term thinking has always been a mainstay of their politics up that way.
