New poll - Trump leading Biden in 5 key battleground states

Trump leading Biden in 5 key battleground states as voters cringe at Biden's age: poll

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...ll/ar-AA1jpMNJ

    5 Nov 2023

Former President Donald Trump holds sizable leads over President Biden in five of the six most important battleground states, according to a New York Times-Siena College poll released Sunday.

Trump leads Biden by a whopping 10 points in Nevada, six points in Georgia, five points in both Arizona and Michigan, and four points in Pennsylvania. Biden's sole lead is in Wisconsin, where he beats Trump by two points.

Biden had defeated Trump in all six states during the 2020 election. Combining the polling in all six states gives Trump a 48-44 lead over Biden.

The NYT-Siena College poll surveyed 3,662 registered voters in the six states from Oct. 22 to Nov. 3.

The polling attributes Biden's poor showing to a devastating lack of confidence due to his age. Voters said they trusted Trump to better hand the economy, foreign policy and immigration.

Trump's performance also came thanks to unprecedented levels of support from black voters, with a record 22% of the demographic siding with him over Biden across the six states, according to NYT.

Trump currently holds a commanding lead in the 2024 Republican Presidential primary, with his closest competitors dozens of points below him.

"The world is falling apart under Biden," Spencer Weiss, a 53-year-old electrical substation specialist in Pennsylvania told NYT. Weiss added that he was flipping his 2020 vote away from Biden. "I would much rather see somebody that I feel can be a positive role-model leader for the country. But at least I think Trump has his wits about him."

Soon to be 81, Biden is the oldest candidate in U.S. history to run for president, followed closely by Trump at 77. An overwhelming 71% of respondents told NYT that Biden is "too old" to serve as an effective president.

Among Biden's own supporters, 54% still say he is too old for the job.

No matter who the candidates are, polls will be set to go "neck and neck" by Election Day, so that the rig doesn't look so obvious.

Who cares? Everybody who thinks logically and reasonably knows Trump's never going to be president again. The whole purpose of his 3 candidacies for president was to destroy the GOP and make them unelectable from here out by painting them as insurrectionists.

I don't doubt that is the case now, but think it will shift once the convictions start rolling in. I'm not convinced Trump will be able to be the nominee, either barred from holding office, dropping out or dead. Same with Biden actually.

What's going to destroy the GOP is running candidates like Nikkil Haley and Chris Christie. I get that many in the GOP don't like Trump. But they'd better figure out, and figure out quickly, how to at least pretend to capitalize on populist sentiments. Right or wrong, people saw Trump as 'it's us and him versus the establishment.' That's a provenly winning platform (shallow as it may be, or is, or thought to be).

The GOP isn't even trying to sell themselves in that light. Running a well-spoken man from Utah in a nice suit and perfect hair just isn't enough anymore.

That's why the GOP will be destroyed.

Huh? Who cares? If you don’t care, say that, but I promise you that many do.

Trump’s message resonates with the GOP, and even myself, who couldn’t stand trump, can see that he did a decent job while president. Interest rates, inflation, energy independence, foreign relations, border security - all better under trump. And those are the things that most conservatives actually care about.

So who cares? I do. So sit down and shut up. If trump is leading Biden for 2024, and no other GOP candidate comes close to his numbers, he’s the one that a normal reasonable, logically thinking person will support.

Black Lives Matter Leader Endorses Trump For 2024 Election
Says the Democratic Party is 'a racist party that strikes at the heart of the black family and the nuclear family'
    https://timcast.com/news/black-lives...2024-election/
    {Adrian Norman | 07 November 2023}

A former Black Lives Matter leader is making waves after publicly endorsing former President Donald Trump.

Mark Fisher — co-founder and former senior director of the Rhode Island BLM chapter, who is now on a tour advocating for the rights of January 6 protestors imprisoned by the Biden administration — says Trump is “the best candidate we have.”

During a Nov. 6 interview with political analyst Kim Iverson, Fisher expressed dismay over policies pushed by the Democratic Party, which he said have had disastrous consequences for black Americans.

“We want to create wealth,” he said while blasting Democrats for being anti-capitalist. “We want to gain wealth, leave something for our children, you know.”

Fisher also criticized progressive policies that champion and facilitate abortion, which he says goes “against the laws of nature” and the “laws of procreation.”

He added, “I’m not here to judge anybody, or to hate on anybody. I’m just telling you what’s beneficial and what’s not for my community. And the Democratic Party is not.”

For the former BLM leader, who has resigned and is now the founder and Executive Director of Maryland’s BLM Incorporated, Trump is a big part of the solution at the federal level.

“Well, you know, I like Trump,” he explained. “And I think right now who we have sitting in the Oval Office is just a deep disappointment, you know? I deeply have disdain for him and I really dislike the Vice President as well.”

According to Fisher, black Americans have “been mental slaves” who have historically pledged loyalty to the Democratic Party which has not delivered results or tangible improvements in return.

“We’ve been used and abused for so long at that party,” he said. “They don’t value our vote. Their policies are basically racist policies. And I believe it’s a racist party that strikes at the heart of the black family and the nuclear family in general.”

His statements come as Democrats and the Biden campaign face a reckoning with black voters who are fleeing the political left in droves as illegal aliens flood urban areas, inflation remains high, and many feel abandoned by their representatives.

Fisher said, “And I believe Donald Trump, he’s the opposite. He’s gonna tell you how it is. He’s gonna give it to you straight. He’s not gonna [be a] hypocrite and stab you in the back like the Democratic Party loves to do.”

They're working hard enough to get sell him. Take this, for example. This isn't about trashing Trump by lumping him in with people 99% of the American Left never heard of. This is about trying to associate Trump with reform in the minds of self-styled conservatives. Even though he had four years and not only didn't drain the swamp, he doesn't seem to have been able to drain his own bathtub.

Well, I’d prefer a Ron / Rand Paul for president, that would be awesome- my point was he did much better than I anticipated. While he was running I thought when he was saying “drain the swamp” what he really meant was he wanted to empty wetlands for rich investors to develop. Honestly, I had believed he was just trying to get to the top for egotistical reasons.

What actually happened was he did a decent job at president- which is far better than doing a terrible job, and that’s all I am trying to say.

I’d say trump did better than bush, Clinton, Obama, and Biden. I don’t know why pointing that out would be a damnation - I don’t expect Ron Paul to win in 2024 so I’ll take better than the rest of the field. Would you prefer another Biden term because trump was only decent?

I'd prefer all the people I knew who died at warp speed hadn't.

I'd prefer we got somebody who was actually willing to turn the wheel hard to starboard, not that there's any time left to save this Titanic. Might have been in 2019, when instead of doing that, Trump was printing even more Monopoly money than Biden has.

Failing that? What difference could it possibly make now? Why not someone who gives out hard lessons on why government is bad so we can deprogram more progs and shoot less? Trump wasn't half bad at that, but there are better...

Anyone believe that Trump is needed by the elites to get people on board with the coming world war? Nobody is going to enlist, or even allow themselves to be conscripted for some leftist, but as soon as Trump gets on TV and makes the case, they'll line up.

Yes, I believe that Trump - Biden - Trump was the plan all along. And it's more than possible that they thought the psychology of taking our Trumpie Bear away from us and later giving him back would help him sell us something. It all smells strongly to me of that pattern.

WWIII? In any case, it's not something I will be buying into, any more than I bought the Warp Speed Jab.

In the highly unlikely event that Trump is allowed to win the election, it will be for a singular reason - BOMB IRAN.

This is what Dershowitz the Trumpsplainer is coming out for doing, ASAP. His new book really lays down his Zionist Bloodlust in no uncertain terms.

If you think the Deep State really, really wants that, then both you and he just explained why that outcome's not highly unlikely at all. In fact, if they hand it to him on a silver platter we will all presumably know why, right?

I strongly preferred the term Shadow Government, and see "Deep State" as a Trumpsplainer term.

That's it. I'm switching back to "ringleaders". It's an old fashioned word, but the more clowns appear, the more appropriate it seems to this circus.

Besides, nobody else is using it, so you guys can't tell me what the dogs think I'm whistling about when I say it.
