While the OP does a good job of cataloguing the craziness, he does fail to stress, what I think is, the most important point to take heed of.
That all of this is political.

The concept was fleshed out years ago by men like Antonio Gra0msci and Herbert Marcuse and other members of the Frankfort school.
The end of WWII allowed an opportunity to put the plan into action, and it was updated by modern Marxists like Saul Alinsky.
All of it is political, designed to demoralize a population and rot a society into collapse, and to then replace it with a Marxist one.
