You can legally go in the lobby of your bank when it is open.
You cannot legally go into the vault of your bank when it is closed.
The Marxists that entered McCarthy's office were not permitted to be there, it is not a public space, and they were arrested and forcibly ejected from the building.

None of them will face any real consequences, certainly none will go to prison for decades.

It's a public space. You can go there. What you can see in the tweets is the entry area for his office where the public can go to talk to his staff and/or meet with him. It's in the Rayburn building.

The protestors were arrested for being disruptive and refusing to leave. They conducted a sit in.

    Ah.

So if the J6 folks had stayed in the public areas, where the police led them, then they would not have gone to the GULAG.

    Got it.

How many of these people are serving prison time?

Secret Service Arrests ‘Dozens’ of Climate Protesters During White House ‘Siege’

    HANNAH BLEAU 29 Jun 2021

Secret Service arrested “dozens” of climate change activists who blocked entrances to the White House on Monday demanding the Biden administration prioritize Green New Deal initiatives in current infrastructure talks.

“Today we showed up to @JoeBiden’s doorstep with 500+ people and blockaded every entrance to the white house, demanding that he include a fully funded #CivilianClimateCorps in his infrastructure bill. Secret Service then arrested dozens of us,” the Soros-funded group revealed:

Weren't most of the J6 victims charged with interfering with government functions? And isn't that the case even though they never entered the chamber where the shenanig... er, I mean function was going on?

So, by government's own standard, yes. Quite. Thanks for asking.

Then why was Owen Shroyer just sent to prison?

    He never went inside.

He wasn't even in DC that day.
Owen was outside, but on Capitol Grounds. Enrique Torres was not at the Capitol, at all.. if I recall, he was arrested on the way to DC for having weapons. Of course, anybody on the right knows that the reason Trump supporters feared violence that day and a few had weapons was antifa, not the Capitol Police.

    Thanks for the correction.

Hard to keep all this nonsense straight.

That's what happens when you plead guilty.

Also, notice that he didn't go to jail for this, which is equivalent to what you're posting in this thread:

In December 2019, Shroyer was arrested in Washington after he disrupted a House Judiciary Committee hearing for then-President Trump’s impeachment proceedings. He later agreed to stay away from Capitol grounds, a condition of a deal resolving that case.

Of course he did. Don't be ridiculous.

I think you're trying to say he didn't get sentenced to prison. You forgot to add "yet", as he has not fulfilled the 32 hours of slave lab--er, I mean community service which was part of the plea deal. Which is just as well, since avoiding arrest was another.

So, you don't know what they're going to do to him for that yet.

My, my. You want to accuse people of not doing their homework so bad. But that's how you are about doing your own homework--so bad.

PBS didn't detail the resolution of that case. They couldn't, as it isn't resolved, but they didn't even try. So what do I need to re-read their tripe for?

Did you read it? How is it in any way a response to what I said, and you quoted?
