Plaintiffs are asking for a Temporary Restraining Order and a repeal of the Order.
NAGR argues the Order is unconstitutional on the merits of the Supreme Court’s ruling NYSRPA v. Bruen, which held New York’s ban on the public carry of firearms unconstitutional. Bruen also held that any gun regulation that does not fall into the text, history, and tradition of the Second Amendment is unconstitutional.

Luhan Grisham is throwing up a middle finger to the Constitution and the Supreme Court,” said Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights. “Her Executive Order is in blatant disregard for Bruen. She needs to be held accountable for stripping the God-given rights of millions away with the stroke of a pen.”

I knew the cases against the J6 people were solid and would get convictions. Yeah the sentences were excessive but they were caught on video guilty.
I meant they may be able to arrest a few people with this and hold them, but there is no chance of a conviction. This is nothing but grandstanding.
If you're being serious, and not just jerking me off, there is no talking to you about this.
If you cannot comprehend how serious this is, without me walking you through it, nothing I say or do can make you understand.

Are you waiting for a "ruling" by a court? I don't make guarantees on others behalf, but I am almost sure that it won't stand, so the by-product will be that you are safe. But what if it does hold up in court?

No I don't think this is a serious problem. I think a far left governor has overplayed her hand and there will be pushback. It's never going to hold up in court. Not a chance.

That's not the point.
Provoke outraged "pushback" against flagrantly unlawful gun-grabbing (which you know is likely to be struck down in court anyway), while using that "pushback" as diversionary camouflage for establishing the practice of issuing draconian and dictatorial "emergency orders" in the name of "public health" (which goes unexamined by the courts and others, and just sort of flies by under the radar).
It's really quite a deft and clever shell-game move.
