Thread: McCarthy and McConnell are traitors, protecting migrants and hurting states.

McCarthy and McConnell are traitors, protecting migrants and hurting states.

Bills were and contiinue to be introduced, but neither Kevin McCarthy, nor Mitch McConnell do ANYTHING to advance solutions that in some cases BOTH Republicans and Democrats want. Especially now, with many Democrats realizing that the current crisis is "unsustainable" (a word they love) and New York and other northern states are in full panic mode about this situation.

Too bad McConnell did NOTHING to advance Josh Hawley's bill, and McCarthy does NOTHING to advance or create solutions working with select Democrats (which is DEFINITELY POSSIBLE NOW) to help our country reverse this situation.

McCarthy today criticized NYC Mayor Adams. What a stupid tact. Adams is on our side now and wants to DO SOMETHING to STOP THIS.
McCarthy offers NO SOLUTIONS but only "protect the border", blah blah blah. That's for the FUTURE. What about NOW????

Hawley in the Senate and others in House have been TRYING to stop this since last year. For example, the power to DEPORT the migrants being granted to the States, something McCarthy and McConnell are NOT BACKING. They let solutions DIE in "Committees" and "Subcommittees". McCarthy is so incompetent and/or traitorous that he allowed the Subcommitte on Immigration and Citizenship which was in Democrat hands to disband, rather than staff it with a Republican majority. Why is that important? Because it's where key Democrats on the issue sit, but moreover, it's where Gosar's duplicate of the Hawley bill was shelved last fall. A Republican majority could have and SHOULD HAVE advanced that bill to the floor, and today the House would have already sent to the Senate a bill that would allow States to deport undocumented migrants and to enforce ALL Federal immigration laws when the Federal government refuses to do so. Would McCarthy even vote for that bill? Maybe NOT !!!

Migrant crisis 'will destroy' New York City, says mayor

    https://www.msnbc.com/morning-joe/wa...r-192522309684

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is weighing into the migrant crisis in New York, accusing the state's Democratic leadership of "throwing in the towel" by failing to deal with the roots of illegal immigration.

In a statement, McCarthy took aim at the influx of tens of thousands of migrants to New York, saying that "finger-pointing and frustration" over the crisis has led to a "total breakdown" between the White House and New York City Mayor Eric Adams and other top New York Democrats.

He urged the state's Democratic congressional lawmakers to support a previously approved GOP House border security bill that has stalled in the Democratic-controlled Senate.
"While New York Democrats complain that it's unfair for Biden’s open-border crisis to be New York’s problem, they’ve taken no action to actually solve the crisis," he said." If enacted into law, this border security bill would immediately restart construction on the wall and hire more border patrol agents to stop the flow that has created the crisis throughout the country.

I see nothing in any of that language that mentions stopping any money flow. All that I see is more federal power/dictate.

Is there a vested interest on either side that I am supposed to support?

    In other words:

NGO's fund and import them in.

The "left" use that as an opportunity to give heart-felt tax dollars to immigrants, along to your standard American in Section 8.

The "right" use that as an opportunity to give heart-felt dollars to the security industrial complex, roving AI cameras, "papers please", holding cells, transportation, "government permission to work" (visa's), which grows fed.gov and their contractors even larger.

This is the left hand, feeding the right hand, feeding the left.

If Americans, and/or politicians, truly cared about your liberty and freedoms, they would simply shut the tax-payer money spigot off. But they don't. It is part of the plan to eliminate the Bill of Rights, document (digital ID) ALL people, increase taxes, while making the ultra-rich even richer. It is part of the Great Reset, where there will be a one-world-government rule of law.

Americans are doing it to themselves with their half-baked solutions.

People don't want freedom and liberty, or money in their pockets. Commies and Nationalists merely wish to serve the state and make rich corporations richer.

    /end rant.

Protecting migrants and hurting states are both good things. Are they not?
There is nothing to fear from globalism, free trade and a single worldwide currency, but a globalism where free trade is competitively subsidized by each nation, a continuous trade war is dictated by the WTO, and the single currency is pure fiat, fear is justified. That type of globalism is destined to collapse into economic despair, inflationism and protectionism and managed by resurgent militant nationalism.

It takes effort to understand how McCarthy is deceiving conservatives. With McConnell, it's easier to identify.

For example, last year, Gosar's duplicate of the Hawley bill died in House subcommittee on immigration and citizenship, a subcommittee
that McCarthy disbanded completely. That's how he made the effort to give states the power to deport migrants go away. Then, he refused
to bring to the floor the bipartisan bill H. R. 3234: To authorize the immediate expulsion of inadmissible aliens attempting to enter the United States by fraud or without a necessary entry document, and for other purposes. IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES May 11, 2023

Mr. Golden of Maine (for himself, Mr. Ciscomani, Mr. Davis of North Carolina, Mr. Fitzpatrick, Mr. Nickel, Mr. Nunn of Iowa, and Mr. Valadao) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Homeland Security, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned...

what the bill would do. notice the phrase "immediate" deportation: https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-...ship.%22%5D%7D

One may go to the websites of both the above committees, and neither of them are doing anything at all about that bill. They are wasting time on pet projects that do nothing, accomplish nothing and leave the crisis untouched.

We're being played for fools. McCarthy talks tough when he has to, but it's always just enough to "sound" like he's doing something, when he's really working behind-the-scenes to do nothing at all. To ever be in pursuit of illusions that he KNOWS can go nowhere, while making REAL, ACTIONABLE efforts die quietly.

Look at this. McCarthy is already planning to WASTE the entire Fall session.

Nothing will be done about the millions of illegal migrants. He's mad a China for not buying Japanese fish because of the Fukushima release.
He's letting Republicans tack on riders that have NO CHANCE of getting through the Senate. What a fraud.

What did you expect from a weak, California Republican?

Him and Glitch both need to resign.

    Worthless and ineffective.

    Not "migrants", they are invaders.

Not states but fellow citizens who live in those states.
