$3.5M in Ron Paul Dollars Stolen by the feds!

I've made my donation to the campaign, and I'm glad and thankful for those who organized the Tea Party! I want to call attention, though, to the fact that there was another grass roots money raising effort for the Ron Paul campaign that was shut down by the feds in November.

Just as 2 tons of Ron Paul Dollars were delivered from the mint on November 14th, the FBI came in and stole them. They stole all the gold, silver and platinum from Liberty Services the makers of the Ron Paul Liberty Dollar (profits from which went to the campaign as a private donation).

I had a very large order of Ron Paul Dollars there that were seized- and the news is now that the FBI is moving to quickly auction this stolen loot off! They are going to liquidate this gold, silver, platinum and copper without ever having arrested anybody, charged anybody, let alone convicted anybody. Its a heinous crime.

Apologies if this seems like spam, really just trying to get the word out. After the raid many people were outraged and wanted to get in on the class action lawsuit, but didn't have any Liberty Dollar certificates-- I have those too, $1 (old base so really $2 face value now) at the store as well.

I think the phrase, "Don't steal from the government, they hate competition." Has just become true.

There is talk of a lawsuit to sue for wrongful siezure. This lawsuit has not yet come about.... but there are definately efforts to get a class action lawsuit.

The class action lawsuit would address the holders of Liberty Dollar certificates (you can see some at the bottom of my home page) whose silver was siezed from the mint in Idaho.

The $3.5M figure includes both the metal in Indiana at the home office and the metal that was stored at the mint backing the certificates. A lawsuit to get the metal returned is going to take awhile-- and the reason tehy are auctioning it off now is they know they will lose-- then they can "compensate" back at an absurd discount to the real value of what was taken, if they lose. Probably this is why they are moving to sell so quick.

I remember real silver coins. They had a nice feel to them, and made pleasing twinkling sounds I wish we had them now.

Umm, while "Ron Paul Dollars" were stolen your post is misleading.. and probably unintentionally.
The Ron Paul Dollars are a coin that was recently created with Ron Paul's face on it called "Ron Paul Dollars". Many Ron Paul supporters ordered these and they were robbed. Though some who don't understand this would think Ron Paul had dollars (Money) stolen from him. That is not the case as the money did not belong to him it was just a currency created by a supporter of him. Don't get confused and think Ron Paul had any money stolen from him as the uninformed might. Those who had money stolen were Ron Paul supporters who ordered the new Ron Paul Coins.
